  1. This video is terrible. RTX has nothing to do with those renders. That's all going through the cuda cores. If anything Eevee would use RTX (but I don't think it's supported yet)

  2. Kinda misleading title. I would appreciate if you would calrify this has nothing to do with rtx but cuda which any Nvidia card supports.

  3. Bit of constructive criticism.
The piece on installing Blender is unnecessary because anyone clicking on this video already uses Blender, otherwise why would they care about accelerating Blender rendering?

  4. Hey TeamVega. Can you do a tutorial on how to get the Vega 56 to work with Blender properly?
I've been trying for a few weeks and it seems to be 'throttling' or not rendering on multi-card setups etc.

  5. This is great to watch. Currently developing a point n click adventure game like Myst that has prerendered graphics. So looking at upgrading to a bigger faster machine, looking at the rtx and amd ryzen 3950 etc … 32gb ram. Really excited for the upgrade and seeing the faster results 🙂

  6. Brothers please go for "Quadro RTX cards instead of Normal RTX or even Titan RTX" these cards are built for heavy workloads. I've tested Them.

  7. I love that Blender is so widely endorsed and utilized now.

I remember back when I first found out about it (to be fair, it was before the 2.x series and the interface was a lot more unfriendly), people mocked it and told me constantly to "just use a real 3D program like Max or Maya".

    I stayed with Blender regardless.

Well look at it now :p.

  8. this video freaked me out. I was running it at full screen then seen a windows desktop on my Linux screen, I almost went into cardiac arrest. then I remembered it is a video… lmao

  9. Testing RTX 2070 super on my old computer (waiting for new PC to arrive in a few days). Light bounces don't seem to affect performance on 2.80 release at all. Is it supposed to be like it?
Set everything in light paths to 128 and rendered with 128 samples in 15 minutes + 3-4 minutes for denoiser. Same settings and 512 samples = 1hr of rendering without denoising. Dunno if there's any support for RTX in 2.80, they said it's going to only appear in .81 or .82 but still amazing how fast it is. Won't even try rendering it with my old gtx950. It'll probably be done by the time my new PC arrives XDDDD
