I am running a AT&T Samsung sgh-i747 SIII and I am dying to remove this bloatware and root this phone but I am very nervous that I might brick this phone, I just paid 599$ cash for it and would die if I lost it. What can I do here? I have the phone completely tweaked, all bloatware is disabled but still exists on the phone. Can anyone help me? What is the real risk here?

36. Wait for nexus 2, imho it's better. Also yes, it's different… You can't root the American version with the internation version's rooting method, look it up. Also I'm on a HTC one X so I don't know much about samsung, but I can assure you that the nexus 2 will be a lot better than the s3 or note 2 (since that fucker doesn't even fit your pockets)

37. In all seriousness is the Galaxy S3 American version in some way different in the rooting process? I only ask because of him mentioning that they said somewhere not to do it with the Snapdragon.

39. I rooted my s3 in 2 minutes after all the downloads were finished, if it takes you 15 minutes you are slow, and nobody needs that tool kit, it´s esier if you follow zedomax´s instructions….I am High on Android….
