11. 1      At the end,the image (recovery image) should be unlocked.

    2.     When you enter the recovery in the CMD ,just paste it's name and then write the extension (.img) because if you introduce the whole name with the extension ,it will give you an error.

    I got stuck there and I hope this will help someone.

13. Make sure your file is unblocked, that was the issue I had 🙂 just right click on the img and go to properties, at the bottom it should say "unblock".

14. There is a problem that the recovery.img after the root is not working I type it in command like "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img and it tells me its unknown. I also noticed that the recovery you downloaded was 7,122kb and mine was 5,742kb large, can you please help me, Im almost done?

16. You can unlock your htc's free at freehtcunlock-net i unlocked my desire there. Give it a try.

17. I got to about where command prompt had me copy paste token identifier then my IEM is wrong? could ya chime in and tell me what I did wrong???

21. I think so … tested with the HTC Desire X with android 4.1.1 😀

22. Whenever I type: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    It always gives me an error saying: error: cannot load 'recovery.img' : Unknown error
    Please help 🙂
