Do they fairly widely exist and spread among animals, that humans are rarely in contact with? – Or does it just continue to spread among humans perpetually, killing off people rapidly, just in so low population density and low-travel-activity areas, that it doesn't spread widely? Or do these pathogens live for decades on end on some very special materials?
