1. You remember affliction during legion? You could melt someone in about 5 seconds if you set up correctly.

3. Affliction lock always feels great near the start of the expansion (or the prepatch for an expansion), and then they get worse and worse as the expansion goes on. It's basically the old Warrior scaling in reverse. 😀

13. Gearing right now… is it really an issue? 6-8 months from now, current best gear will all be useless.
    If you grind out this expansions gear right now, the Shawdow Lands gear grind will feel horrible to do.
    If you get upgrades, now till then, it's a bonus, but….. it's not the end of the world if you don't get it.
