That balk needs much more of an explanation. What that young man did there was different but it satisfied everything from the windup. Where is it written specifically section 8 that a pitcher can't alter his windup????
on jpc901c vid of runner being caught stealing home . First I thought it was the old rule of 7.07 . I see that the pitcher step of the mound ,hurry throw to home , catcher steps in front of plate. I know 7.07 is more of a safety reminder to catcher not to do that . the batter was nice and step out but if he swung and hit catcher in the back is that just catchers interernce or the is the batter out because it is no longer a pitch. thank you for helping out on this.
There’s so much to look out for when runner is stealing home. That play is my worst nightmare. You gotta look for a pitchers balk, catchers balk, interference, obstruction, oh and on top of all that you gotta call the pitch.
