  1. I only watched the Fortnite sections as it is the only game I play on my iPad. He talks about the frames not dropping on the iPad Pro 2020 but at 7:36 and 7:43 and a few other times it shows that his frames are at about 80 FPS… This seems biased to me. You can see the frames on the top right corner of each iPad during Fortnite

  2. So in Norway i can get the 2018 model with 256gb of storage for about 1100 dollars or i can get the 2020 model with 256gb for about 1350 dollars. Should i choose 2018 og 2020 model?

  3. I have both iPads. There is a subtle difference in performance. I believe that most Is due to the extra GPU core, but I can’t prove it. There does seem to be a slightly better long term performance which could be attributed to the new thermal management. Possibly less “throttling” in the 2020 model. Also the extra 2GB ram may affect video editing. This is doing rendering in a video editor. I found that when rendering smaller projects, there’s almost no difference, but when the project approaches 4GB, then the difference becomes larger. With an 8GB project, the difference is very noticeable. So the extra ram does have an effect when the project is large enough to fill it. I don’t know if it’s noticeable in normal use, because the 2018 model is already so fast.

Without seeing extensive testing such as what Anandrech often does,I don’t know what all the other differences are. The tests I’ve done show that possibly the Storage is faster, but my 2018 model has 256Gb while my 2020 has 512GB. It’s possible that the 512 has more chips, giving faster speeds, as they are in parallel.

  4. We need to understand they speed isn’t the factor anymore, yeah besides new cameras it’s a bland update but the iPad Pro is still far ahead of anything in its category terms of performance. Your gonna get to a point we’re everything launches in less than a second. What I personally want in my next device is better battery and better structure
