This is Cinemax's action replacement for 'Strike Back' ….. like most, I'll give it try ..
Warrior season 2 ??
I'll be the first to admit that I'm confused by Cinemax's decision to air this show. In January 2020, they claimed they were done with original programming and the fates of both Warrior and Jett were up in the air since they wouldn't be joining HBO Max. As a matter of fact, I think Jett was canceled by Cinemax while Warrior is supposed to air its final season this Fall.
Now, I'm wondering what convinced Cinemax to go through with this show. Don't get me wrong. It looks amazing and I'm all for watching it on June 5th. But, Quarry also looked amazing and got axed due to Cinemax wanting more shows like Banshee and Strike Back rather than a violent crime drama. This, of course, was before they claimed they would "not be producing any more shows" and you can read it for yourself: https://www.thewrap.com/cinemax-programming-wont-be-on-hbo-max-channel-to-no-longer-produce-original-content/
Overall, I'm definitely curious to see how this will play out.
I'm in
