I did it, I managed to downgrade to 1.5 android, now to root and install cyanogen 6.
P.S do not use Sandisk use another brand like samsung micro sd card.
find a place that offers it for download. This could have changed though since the video is 2 years old.

i had 1.6 but downgraded to 1.5 but my phone isnt unlocked so i can't go beyond the home screen (i'm not american so tmobile SIM dont work here) so can anyone tell me how to upgrade the 1.5 back to 1.6…i really need your help. THANK U 🙂
@TIAN405 hey were you able to solve the problem? im wondering if they updated before i saw this. im at 2.2.1 but zollotech says to downgrade to 1.5 we have to use this method in his video. so im assuming when he said 1.6 and above, means us ? anyways, im wondering if this improved the sluggishness of the phone with 2.2.1…can somebody please tell me?? thank you
does this speed up the phone that was before in 2.2.1 that was so sluggish?

i get to the part whre it says no image no imgae etc, but then it doesnt give me a chance to do the update. i have deleted it and reinstalled it and i still get stuck at the same thing. i have the htc magic 2.1. help?
