    No, this is not a "Ps5 is more powerful/better than the Xbox Sires X" video. This video was made to help explain why the Ps5 should not be underestimated when it comes to power and capability. It's been nothing but tflops this and tflops that but it is becoming increasingly clear that the tflop number does not really matter especially when it comes to dedicated game consoles. Hopefully what Coreteks had to say here helps convey why Sony made the design decisions they did and why it's going to most likely result in seeing things done in games we have never seen before and weren't even expecting.

  3. The biggest problem is that only exclusives will be able to make full use of ps5's power. For the next few years the xbox will be the better console. Regardles though, the will both be awesome to olay on

Neither console will shock anyone with a mental capacity greater than that of your average Dachsund, they will be powerful for their price, but not as powerful as the highest end PC's, like all consoles have always been since the mid 80's. Edit: Except for the Wii….but I mean, there had to be at least one exception to the rule.

  9. its has weaker processing power. the only thing ps5 is making up for is its ssd why being so fanboyish about a stupid brand that is not even yours or have any benefit of if u prove its stronger or not

  12. Microsoft is really pouring on the hype right now and people are eating it up. Give it 5 months and that will have cooled down and Playstation data will saturate the market. We havent even really seen any gameplay at all, hopefully there strategy will pay off and hype will build as the release draws nearer.

  13. Coreteks video was a great breakdown of the I/O importance on system architecture. Double the I/O is a big deal and dont forget about the 2 DMA controllers that allow ram to be cleared and supplement burst mode loading. The audio chip itself is a jaguar strength DMA controller that takes any stress the chip would have had for audio functions completely off chip. Not worried about 1.72 flops. The difference between ps4-ps4 pro- XboX one X was more than 2 flops on each and the games didnt have that great a difference between the systems.

  16. i know it'll probably be slightly less powerful than the xbox x, but there will definitely be better games available for the ps5. Games that i actually wanna play. Not just first persons and minecraft

  20. I love how a ton of media outlets are doing these puff pieces on how under powered the PS5 will be or that theres all these issues. People The PS4 alone has sold more than double the amount of xboxs, Sony knows what they are doing.

  23. Hopefully the PS5 SSD means we will get games like Titanfall 2 but on the scale of Superman's fight against Zod in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. Something where you are wall jumping at high speeds across the sides of skyscrapers through an entire open world and the buildings are falling down around you as you do it, and if you dont go fast enough the building will fall out under your feet and you will fall a few stories before hitting a solid surface in the falling down building that allows you to jump back up, all dynamically moving, maybe you slide down as the angle changes, etc etc, just high speed, mobile, epic scale, combined with fun shooting mechanics, etc.

  28. On paper it looks nice, but outside of first party games who is going to utilize this? Remember 3rd party devs develop games for other platforms.

  29. Stop trying to find a way around the facts. Series X is more powerful. Both consoles are gonna be amazing though, they both have ray tracing. Sony just understands how important price is so they’re going for more bang for your buck, series x is brute force, probably more expensive. Those specs are also boost speeds. I’m tired of people trying to bend the truth about these two consoles. Sony chose this to be their strategy, y’all are gonna have to live with it. This is why they have smartshift tech inside. Wouldn’t u think that was meant for laptops that have to worry about a battery??? Not a big machine that always stays plugged into the wall.

  32. If a 1.8 tflops can give a game like death stranding,im confident about the ps5 games since even not one game from xbox one x could stand up to death stranding

  34. I saw this video also and the focus on memory bandwidth is being massively overlooked. The PS5 could certainly have an advantage in some key areas that many are not considering.

  37. People dont understand that the ps5 could load the whole gta 5 map in less then a second with means that the ps5 found litterly load the map while you're tuning around.
