  12. Fun fact, Rishi Kapoor was a 3rd Generation actor, born to Mr. Raj Kapoor (there never will be another). Raj Kapoor had given series of hits, love stories strung around social problems of the time. His master piece was 4-hr long Mera Naam Joker ( my name is joker), which was a disaster on box office with a lot of talk that Raj Kapoor had prrhaps become irrelevant. Raj Kapoor went ahead and directed Bobby, but was so short of money that he could not pay established actors. He casted Dimple Kapadia, a debutante, and his own son (for free). And the movie brought home the fact that Raj Kapoor would never go irrelevant for Hindi cinema. This snippet was from an interview given by Rishi Kapoor some years back.

    Personally, I am not a fan of this movie but the moving forces behind this movie always move me. Good reaction. 🙂

  16. oh my God im heart broken of great kapoor,s death , plz guys check his movie laila majnu , it,s the most famous love tale in eastern countries and he mad it so much sensible and brought it into a beautiful feature , i feel really sad , actually making a video clip of his movie , i hate this era i truly hate this fact that it might happened for this stupid situation on virus and quarantine and else 🙁
