2. Dang am I liking that refined battle UI. All the information is still there, still easy to process and much more streamlined allowing you to see more the scene as a fight goes down. And goodness does what we see of Makna look spectacular! I'm really hoping we get an extended portion of the Review just gushing over the graphical updates in the areas that desperately needed it. I knew the textures on this game were muddy, looking at comparisons did Monolith Soft ever deliever on HD! And I for one, thank them for it. This game likely pushed the Wii to the limit of its capabilities and seeing it moving to a system that can handle it (hopefully with some smooth framerates too?) is a treat. I am looking forward to finally sitting down a 100% run (even if it will take me months since I'll be lazy about it).

12. I only played XBC2; is this as good/polished? Especially plot-wise? Since battle mechanics, collecting mats, cores, etc. looks the same, story is what I'd be buying into.

18. The only Xenoblade game I played was Xenoblade Chronicles 2 . I beat the game and everything but it's battle system is Wierd to me since I control his movement or specials and not the sword. That's probably why I was more inclined to play Ys 8 since I can control the sword and it's specials. Still though Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was a good game with an excellent story and characters but it's battle system felt… something. I'd probably get this game later in it's lifespan

19. This looks really crisp for the Switch. Nintendo just started increasing the output resolution for all games on Switch and it can even output higher than 1080p docked and higher than 720p in handheld mode. Switch graphics are going to look much better now and there's also supersampling on top of that (rendering graphics higher than the output resolution). Handheld mode is already rendering games at 1080p which I noticed in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
