1. That was a great, thought out video, i really appreciate the time you put into creating the video so that we all here can better appreciate what is actually being done with the Sony PS5. I also listened to the whole spill Cerny had to make, and even though i'm not extremely techy or versed in this area, what Sony is trying todo is be the David that beats Goliath. I'm a true Sony fan, but i can also appreciate what the Xbox is doing as well, because it makes for good competition, and helps each console achieve their own greatness. I like that both consoles are taking different routes on how they plan to achieve greatness. Great video, and good luck to Sony and Xbox, at the end of the day, all we want are great games and exclusives to play.

7. I appreciated this breakdown. I understood maybe 40% of that GDC conference. I'm a lifelong PS guy but I'm still considering a Series X this time around. For me, it's not so much about power and performance, but the mod/crossplay support Microsoft has shown in comparison to Sony. I know Sony is getting better about it now, but having years of subpar modding capabilities and crossplay opportunity has soured me a bit on Sony.

14. 5:05 good to know that we are just blatantly lying?. The Xbox series x sad has a stable NVME 1tb ssd while the ps 5 only has a fluctuating 825 gb ssd. So yes, it actually can do that and it can do it better.

15. Whilst watching the video i was actually thinking that you might be right until the end. I own both pro and one x and there is not yet a single game that the pro out performs the x. That statement discredits your whole video.

22. Ok, great argument. Great simplification of the conference. Great job. Now, 1) where is the console? I saw great details on how great the ssd and sound would be. Now, 2) How is this power full processor going to get cooled ? Sony said is going to be a surprise? Lol, really the show me something. No details on the cooling at all. You literally had to use xbox mind craft videos to explain what they are trying to do. You said the two word that explain what Sony is doing and that is “theoretical console”. By the ways as an owner of both consoles x & pro. I hope ps5 can get cooling right this time because between the pro is the loudest console.

23. Only time will tell which console “wins”, none of the hype of either console will be fully know or realised until its released and devs squeeze all they can out of them. For me it will be an xbox under my tv regardless of power because i like the ecosystem, you might prefer sony for similar reasons. One thing i am sure of, both will be great systems.

25. Considering the power of the of the Series X, I don’t see how the PS5 can overcome the power gap with just optimizations alone. I would like if you could have elaborated on that more.

30. At this point it does not actually matter so much how good or not good the PS5 will be. The reality is, from a marketing standpoint, Sony has completely fumbled an easy score after dominating the last generation.

38. the ssd is more for game developers then it is gamers, 3 games into next gen noone will give a shit they're not hiding in an elevator cuz their waiting for the next area to load. if the ps5 can't produce real time ray tracing in their games there's going to be a MASSIVE graphics difference between them, not like ps4 to xbox 1, but more like ps4 to xbox 1 x. and that is where sony will be hit the hardest. Lets face it.. i remember the look on jim ryans face when he announced that sony would not be attending e3 for the first time, he seemed genuinely surprised that people were interested to see what was going on. i think they're out of touch again. will have to see, but im not pre ordering a ps5 till i know it's capabilities.

39. As a 15 year old who is interested in becoming a computer engineer himself, I was also fascinated by what the PS5 was capable of and cant wait for it to be released. Obviously I didn't understand 100% of it, maybe about 70-80% of stuff I actually understood which isn't too bad I suppose.
