  2. There has been a storyline outside of the animus the whole time. Desmonds ended for a reason, did you play the end of AC3?? And the last two games have been more dynamic as far as npcs and missions over any other. You could see how the different people lived based off of where you were, include that with daily missions, side quests, and random events from npcs, you never ran out of stuff to do and it felt a hell of a lot less repetitive than the others games where you're doing the same thing over and over again. There's a reason as well that the last two games felt less like an AC game because technically, they weren't assassins. Origins was at the end, but odyssey was more about the animus and the ones who came before than most other AC games. It's all still being tied together, and there hasn't been an AC game (main storyline) that I haven't loved

    a stranger knocks on the door of an isolated house in the forest. a tall, strong man with skin covered in ash opens it; the stranger says: Oh! I thought you'd be bigger.. but you are definitely the one.

  9. I love the juxtaposition with what i assume to be the king of England's speech and the shown images. Calling them godless but showing them with just a different kind of gods. Calling them blind killers but showing that they have mercy. Just epic.

  10. Honestly not feeling the Viking theme, I'd much rather play as the English considering the vikings are the baddies invading & pillaging. Its by far past time they done feudal Japan or three kingdoms setting.

  15. Definitely Alfred. You guys should watch The Last Kingdom, the guy the cast for Alfred in that show looks almost exactly like Alfred in this game lol

  18. 2:35 have they announced what years this wil ltake place in? if it is (if correct) 1020s or 1030s then yeah they maybe bringing this close to when the vikings prepare to arrive on england. we could also see this version of ragnar and how close they make him like records depicted him as in history.

  28. Was waiting on you all reacting to this not long after getting up to date with Vikings the show. Cant wait for this assasins creed after how good a game odyssey was, this looks set to be even better. SKOL !!

  32. I’m getting a black flag vibe from this trailer. Hopefully is not as similar as it, but follows that story type it worked really well

    Edit: the modern aspect is still there it’s just so bare bones it might as well be removed

  33. I know the Assasins Creed Company recently was here in Norway and up in Lofoten, one of the mighty places in NordVegen(NorthWay) in the viking age.
