4. For certain tasks it would be amazing to have cursor support. I still love the iPad as a tablet and draw allot for work, but being able to use a mouse in more areas would really speed my workflow up, and I wouldn't get those annoying fingerprints on my screen!

5. The new smart keyboards better not be exclusive to the 2020 iPads. I'd be furious if they did that crap.

8. I often use my iPad Pro with mouse + keyboard to remote desktop into my Mac, Windows 10 machine or Raspberry Pis with VNC Viewer. It works OK, but you have to use the iPad's mouse pointer to click on the pointer of the remote machine before you can move it, which is all a bit awkward. If there was an option for the iPad mouse to directly control the pointer of remote machines when using any remote desktop apps, it would be a real game-changer.

9. Better mouse support is great. Hope they will still improve on:

   * External monitor support at native resolution for that monitor
   * Support for more external storage filesystems
   * Keep enhancing file browser
   * Desktop redesign similar to Android with a separate app tray so I can have a clean desktop with only apps or folders I want
   * Work with Microsoft and Google to make sure Office / Google docs is feature complete with desktop versions
   * Final Cut Pro
   * A second USBC port would be very handy as well as a card reader

10. It makes sense, some people… I mean a lot of people doesn’t need the power of a computer cause there is enough power in an iPhone, just plug it to a screen and use a mouse and a keyboard to type some texts, surf the web, do some research etc… only one device to do it all, basic tasks, entertain yourself…

11. You need to do more homework before you talk about things. Existing cursor support isn’t merely “buried in settings” as if to imply Apple wants you to stay away from it: it’s located properly within Accessibility features and settings.

    It certainly isn’t “almost beta”. It’s there for use by Apple’s customers who find it difficult or impossible to use the standard multitouch UI. It’s meant to be rock solid and direct/simple for the use of those customers.

13. You can get precision control of the timeline with touch only. If anything touch only makes it easier to get tight precision control. You can push and pull the playhead with touch really organically. LumaTouch is a terrific example of that.

    Only problem is that in recent years they’ve been chasing the iPhone market and not focusing on the iPad. So their UI has taken a step backwards in some areas recently.

    God I’ll cry with happiness if we get full Final Cut Pro X on the iPad this year.

    Apple would be wise to make a statement about its power and pro status and charge exactly the same price for the Final Cut on the iPad as it does on the Mac

    Actually hang on, didn’t they roll out universal app pricing recently ???. Exciting times

14. If Apple brings Final Cut Pro X to the iPad only to REQUIRE a mouse or pointing device for that to work then I’ll be devastated

16. This will be great. Hate cleaning my finger prints all the time. Why don’t they also include all the gestures using the pencil. Will this include using an existing track pad?

20. Wish they don’t water down the support for regular mice, not gonna spend tons of money to upgrade just for those functions.

21. Curser control while great, wait a second that is why you do high-end work on a computer, go figure. No what it means is any app developer will just develop cursor control and not touch control in future app development ending what was so great about a tablet.

22. I guess its a good thing i just got myself an 11 inch iPad Pro. I bought it just wanting an ipad and got the keyboard case mainly just to prop it up for watching movies, but ive been using it more and more instead of my MacBook for things like email and light work from home things.

25. In order to make iPad Pro become true pro, Apple need at least make it 2 usb c in both side, and move the Face ID under the Apple Pencil docking area.

26. The trackpad Smart Keyboard better support the 3rd gen iPad Pro. Don’t make us upgrade to the next gen Apple.

27. Apple Watch cellular version has a super big flaw that no one is talking about. When you go running and leave your phone at home and your On a call with someone the WATCH alone don’t have call waiting and you can’t receive text while your on the call with your Apple Watch alone. So that’s a game breaker for me and I return the watch series 5 Nike edition I had. And I only bought the watch so that when I go running I can leave my phone home ☹️??
