I rly dont know what do do, my aspire has 4g ram intel i5 and geforce 840, but in some games it get lag spikes that last for 15 seconds, somebody help pls!!!

Just switched out really old cooling paste and dusted everything on my mother's acer laptop. Was still slow as balls, so found this video. Everything runs a lot smoother now. Was on the verge of reinstalling W7. Thanks dude! Very helpful!

This really helped my pc performance! It just took 30 minutes to defragment the hard drive but that’s ok.

I might wanna add as well, that it's best to update I/O drivers, Chipset Drivers, and so on…
I notice that out of the box, the laptop I bought was already sluggish, now I updated to the manufacturer's support website, now there's a marked improvement.
