Being from the Middle-East, the PlayStation 2 was the only console in town when I got my first console. Since I got it during the PS3's lifespan, I waited for the PS4. I've loved both. So, the PS5 should really suck for me to switch to Xbox. Yeah, they might have a greater marketing push and more floppy bois but I'm sticking with Sony until it disappoints me.
Next time y'all have someone who's talking about the specs of these systems, can you make sure they got their info right? So many mistakes and wrong explanations in this vid, it's kinda staggering.
I'm not going to buy it at launch first i will watch the reviews and the one ends up better is the one i will buy.
Xbox seems to love its OS a little too much
The Spec announcement for the PS5 was because GDC was canceled and covid-19. I suspect Sony has been hesitant to reveal more, because of the last xbox generation announcement being a disaster, and Sony swooping in to capitalize. So they are just holding their cards close, to see if and when microsoft messes up again. It will be likely that Sony will reveal the flood gates of announcement by June or July.
Xbox has been shitting its diaper this entire generation. You want to talk about hearts and minds, look at where we already are, not where you speculate we're going to be based on no evidence. I was a huge 360 fanboy 2 gens ago but Xbox really fucked up everything this generation. Sony has consistently put out a far superior game lineup for the last several years.
They've got a load of work to do to win me back and either way, I'm getting a PS5 because I have a PC where I can play 95% of Xbox exclusives without having to have an Xbox.
A lot of PS5 damage control going on here hahah. It's over!
Sony's best case scenario is a 20% difference in performance between PS5 and Series X, and those clocks will be lower when the system is heavily stressed. And now we're not even sure if PS5 has Variable Rate Shading, which could make as much of a difference as the initial divide in Tflops.
There is no universe where PS5 is practically as good as Series X.
SSD is going to be a thing? I've been using SSDs for years. Most PC gamers have used SSDs for years. I don't even know what a hard disk drive looks like anymore.
Console wars is dumb. I like games. Its what i do. Im definitely getting both as soon as possible. And hopefully upgrade my PC around the same time.
It’s crazy that my high end pc has 7 fans and run my games in high settings and it’s really silence sometimes it gets loud for a few seconds but it dosnt compare to my ps4 pro it’s so freaking out I’m gonna buy the Xbox x series this time

The real difference is between PC and console and no one wins that because people get the two for different reasons. Hopefully more cross-platform games (Thank you COD: MW) will bridge the gap between all.

Could care less about which one is better as long as the specs are solid for current gen and which ever one has the most or rather best exclusives (playstation) that's all that matters to me.
The day they make it so when you buy digital it’s the exact same as physical I’ll take the no disk drive otherwise they can screw off with stealing my property that I spent my money on

A strong ps4 was the best thing for xbox fans. Now a strong xbox sx, will be good for PlayStation fans. Competition keeps companies honest. And sony is going to have to get their messaging right and be on their toes.
Ps5 will win. Developers are more intrested to optimize game on ps platform. Why? 106 milion users of ps4/pro. Another 20 million for next 2 years.That is "backward compatibility" means. While Xbox only has 50s million users. Not worth of development efforts. New Game will come late and less optimize to xbox. The game will sell better in PS than xbox. It is about the money. 2Tflop more powerfull means nothing if no effort put to take full advantage of it.

I have a PC. At the end of the day Sony has exclusive games I definatly want to play. Xbox could have cool exclusives this time. But currently that is just people making guesses. So as it stands I intend to buy a PS5 for the games.
