  3. The hype for ACNH was really surprising, I mean I've never seen so much talk about a game from the franchise on twitter before. I've always seen the franchise as a popular "niche". One thing is sure, coronavirus had a huuuuge impact on switch's sales and so on ACNH, the game popped at the perfect time. It would be a bit dishonest to explain the sales by the hype and quality of the game only, and not take into account the context in which the game came out.

And here I am wondering how much capital does a Tanuki Raccoon would need to have multiple islands in different hemispheres, his own phone, and to set up a satellite system/mobile network to operate on every island that you can land on. Is it like star link? I have so many questions about the Nook phone.

  5. The funniest thing ever would be if these scalpers bought dozens of switches and couldn't sell them. Like, ever. I hope that they suffer. Scalping is the epitomee of human garbageness.

  13. Arlo I think May day is a refrence to Croatia. Here the first day of May is a work-free day and people ussually take vacations around that day.

  17. You're right, spawn wave doesnt own news roundups. In fact, you've done the Gamers Brief before which acted as a nice little news roundup. As much as I like spawn waves very scripted and informative videos, I admittedly enjoy your videos more as I like the off the cuff humor.

    Get back into those Gamers Briefs Arlo, boxers don't suite you.

  20. Buying switch games from an app sounds appealing. I read the switch news but it's such a pain to type in my password using a game controller.

    It's also annoying how the Switch news lists games on sale but won't show prices til I type in my password…
