  1. I, again emphasize, am not defending any of the people who participated in this. I just tried to do some research and give you guys some information! And the police estimates keep varying from 10,000~30,000 depending on what source you rely on. When a specific number is available, I will make sure to let you guys know again!

  2. I love this? i will try to remain neutral……. then proceeds to bash those "below level of trash people"? if news was like this, i would watch it everyday?

  3. As a women, how pathetic and helpless when i am first reading this case eventhough i am not Korean and i believe this kind of illness transactions are happened everyday worldwide. And those evil ''viewer'' don't act like innocent and if you could just put yourself in their shoes for a second, perhaps you will know how scary they were been force to do all of those insane activities.

  4. One of Cho's main accomplices is a high school student. Truly appalling! His poor mother must be heartbroken to think that her own child would do such things.

  5. I cannot believe how people could have made such crude remarks against you – assuming you to be part of this Nth Telegram situation – I hope people who thought that of you are disgusted by themselves. I (and i'm sure i'm not alone) definitely am disgusted. Thank you for help make this dark scene clearer, again particularly for foreigners (i'm British) like me. Stay strong warrior, and please take care and stay safe ^^ xxx

  6. They have chats like this on Instagram and the vary from countries like South Korea, Mexico, U.S.A, and china, and India I've heard about them but have never seen them except for one which a guy that used to go to my highschool was invited to he left that chat at first sight…..

  7. I see a lot of comments about being shocked but this isn't something new. DKDTV news dived deeper into this. Korea has been having these types of "scandals"/ gross cases pop up every now and then for quite some time now. The JJY /burning sun scandal and this is just the tip of iceburg and these cases show that no one is innocent not even your oppas(in case of JJY/burning sun chat rooms). What's sad is from the international fan community these things are often ignored and overlooked due to the obsession over the cookie-cutter/squeaky clean manufactured image of kpop or percieved korean culture globally. People fail to realise korean culture is very image-based, whats on the outside matters the most even when it comes to everyday normal citizens. Your devious, selfish, immoral, rude… traits have to be masked by the obedient, respectful, kind and considerate image that every korean has to force onto themselves. You think k- celebs/idols are always that happy, kind, respectful and patient in real life? They are human so no is the answer. A lot of the times it has to be fake, staged,(even those exaggerated, cute, "funny", reactions on variety shows) , and some idols after leaving their groups or not being famous anymore have admitted to this, because thats what sells and brings popularity and monetary value to that person's image. Everyone is media-trained/ image trained from the get-go, from an early age. If not you don't get very far in the cut-throat korean society that values your outer appearance and your selling point over the beauty inside you. Everything comes down to image and money. Thats why the suicide rate is so high in modern korea, its a society/culture that promotes mass production of empty shells instead of real people . The korean people are victims to their own regressive society and the frustration is seen in their public now more than ever.

  8. It doesn’t matter if people outside Korea consider our country with bad image. I rather feel relieved to see this terrible case keeps drawing attention from the world. Please keep supporting us putting the matter in its proper light. We’ll need to get to the bottom of this thing at all costs.

  9. Heard that Cho Joo bin was only going to get 3 years in jail. . .how?
This is insane. It was really not okay with what Cho did and that he didn't work alone. I won't say what they made girls do because it was way too graphic; the stuff that was extremely graphic was non-consensual and women got physically hurt. I wish the government would show the disgusting people who paid for this footage. Not only is this inhumane to blackmail and force women by stealing their info and pushing them to do sick things.. .3 years is way too short.
I do not want to be supporting a celebrity or a company who literally made a conscious decision by watching these videos. It was a choice that they made and they paid for and participated in. Absolutely disgusting. Thank you for addressing this issue so much. People don't know about this too much

  10. This is just terrible. Between this scandal and the Burning Sun, as well as the rampant digital crimes there (spy cams, video blackmail), I can't help but wonder if this is a symptom of a deeper issue in Korea. The large majority of victims here are women, indeed these crimes often started with women in mind. Why is this happening in Korea? I know that casual sexism is still quite common there – in my experience, it's mostly the expectation of women to quit their jobs and have kids if they get married. But this seems to be a darker, more violent resentment pointed especially towards women. Why?
Side note: I read that this website hosted sn*ff rooms. OMG how did this app even continue to exist? (sn*ff rooms are live video feeds of body mutilation for the sexual pleasure of its audience)

  11. 4:19 " they are like pure trash ~ like I rather hang out with actual trash in my trash can then hang out with these people level of trash" lmao wow perfect saying!

  12. Why the doctor did this? How many doctors are not found and arrested? How to protect the victim from the next harmful thing.
Every one could think. 260k is such a big number that police may need to pay a lot of time to know who is who. It is to waste time. To make clear and correct law to give key criminals serious penalty is a most important thing to stop the evil thing. I heard the Justice will be a man who used to place very slight penalty to the sex criminals. This is key. To ask police or government to reveal all viewers will defocus the issue.

  13. For the 260,000 users, I believe it would be ideal to turn them into productive members of the state by enforcing a labor regime similar to North Korea. Those 260,000 will live in perpetual humiliation and slavery in Korean society. Revealing their names and faces would be the first step when the government establishes a database containing the photos, names, ages, addresses, phone numbers, occupations, and any other personal information of the perpetrators. Anyone on that database will be subject to the labor regime. They will be banned from all privileges, such as traveling abroad and purchasing a home, and will be restricted in their movements outside their homes. They will have 70%-90% of their money taxed to the state and be deprived of all rights of marriage and having children.

  14. According to the investigation, some of victims are related to online prostitution.

These victims were looking for those who can meet up and give them money for sexual purpose.
However, unfortunately, victims met this bad guy through the Telegram.
Victims felt they had no choice but to give in to his demands or have their photos and personal information spread across the Internet.

Of course, nothing justifies this kind of sexual assault.
No matter how careless these victims were, extreme cruelty of suspect cannot be justified.

However, preparation is always the best option not to make this happen again.
I think we should be more serious in protecting child internet users who are in danger of sexual abuse or violence at the hands of online predators.

  15. I can't believe the level some people continue to still stoop to, to do this sort of thing. As if there isn't enough indecent, abhorrent material online already, add to that deaths occurring from COVID 19, what is this so called civilized world coming to? Sha'me on the idiots that asked if you were a participant…I'm speechless!

  16. I hope they get all punished, because what they've it's unforgiveable. I read what they did and it makes me so upset, I feel sad, I feel angry, it's horrible.
Those women, girls and children need justice. I don't care how big and famous the men who paid to see those disgusting videos were, I want them to pay. Also, this needs to spread all aroun the world. I wish those girls could get over what they've been thorugh but it's hard, it's something they are not going to forget.
If you need more information, this link will help you, it's intense although. https://nthroom.carrd.co/#full

  17. This is all over the world. Chat rooms are a big problem in the child porn industry. And some of these people are very high up in status…at one time social workers were asking network providers to call when these forums are showing up on the network.

  18. girls in the world: Telegram sex slave is so gross.

also girls in the world: Oppa I love u~~~

    schizophrenia or masochist?
