This is what we want to see in our games, developers pushing the systems to the max, not gender politics.
One thing gamers need to understand is that this has nothing to do with next gen, ps5, xbox etc. this is about the new features of unreal engine 5 which if no catches pushes the industry 15 years ahead, without the engine and the new features "next gen" games would just look like any pc game from 2 years ago. It is just good timing for Epic to release this demo now, and Sony paid the most to get it showcased on their console.
This will the longest staying version of all playstation generations if we will get a quality like this…I dont expect a playstation 6 for the next 10 years, simply amazing, Im so curious about the destruction engine and gta 6 ?
It looks like a Netflix 4K trailer
The more realistic graphics get, the smaller generational leaps become. I mean it does look impressive but to me it just looks like Uncharted 4 or Horizon Zero Dawn with more advanced lighting and particle effects. Another thing, is that the closer to photo realism we get, that little thing keeping it from looking completely photo realistic just makes the difference look more jarring.

I might be ridiculed and attacked for this, but it seems like I'm the only one in the comments who thinks that this is VERY impressive looking VIDEO GAME. …But it STILL does not look like real life. :/ I keep waiting, year after year, game after game, console after console, for graphics that when I look at them, I literally say "wait…where i the game? Why are they just showing me a real cave or….oh….oH MY GOD. WHAT IS REAL LIFE?!" I can always tell it's computer generated, regardless of how many "triangles" it has. I don't know WHAT that is, or what assortment of nuanced details, but this STILL does not capture the feeling of playing real life virtually. But, to the UE5 developers, this is pretty damn impressive for a video game graphics nonetheless..
