I hate charter. They are overpriced as fuck and in my area they have a monopoly so I can't go with anybody else
Youtubes
I live in Tx & at&t is straight trash
You can’t compare regular internet to fiber and expect the results to be different. Obviously fiber is ALWAYS going to be faster. This was not a good comparison.
Shoulda got ATT fiber, 1 gig up and down
Had Spectrum and it dropped every night and had to reboot. Plus, slow speeds at times. I have AT &T fiber optic and I'm getting close to 490 on wifi. Hooked with Ethernet I'm getting 982. I don't know where you live but fiber is the way of future. I think you said 48 on download? Try 490 anywhere in the house! Old coax can only do so much. Hopefully, fiber optic comes your way. I'm paying $39 bucks for first year , then 59 bucks after. And that's for 1,000 (1g) Mbps . Good luck Spectrum sucks!!!!
Megabyte speed? This dude has no idea what he's talking about.
Charter spectrum is crap! Crappy interrupted services, and 17 year old pot smokers at call centers that do not have the authority to change your bill. The 4 technicians that the 17 year old dope head has sent out on four different occasions find nothing wrong with the wiring. But they still bill 200 $ a month like clockwork for their bundle.
Spectrum is shit
fck that.. Google fiber is way better
If you are on ATT fiber Charter is not even worth looking at. I was a Charter customer for over 10 years until ATT ran fiber in our area. ATT is full 1gig down as well as 1 gig up.
I’m in Bakersfield and I have spectrum , it’s really bad . I always lag and I have the 400 mbps
Where im from Spectrum sucks it comes on then goes off , like if some piece shit turning it on and off on purpose.
SO bias . Nobody care about customer service as long as the Danm internet works
I took me a whole 24 hours to download 2019's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare from Steam. The game is 120 GB. I have AT&T.
Yeah I use spectrum and its shit
At the end of the day the most important step is how you optimize the speed once it's your home. Find out where the dead zones in your house are. There are apps that can measure this. Use extenders as needed. Make sure the devices you use can handle the speeds you have. Designate your bands, use higher channel numbers. If possible stage your router near the center of the home on the highest floor so it covers your home like an umbrella. Always hard wire things like TV's and computers. Small tweaks can make such a huge difference. Thanks for the video!
Unless at&t can run fiber all the way to your house it's not worth getting. If you go with cable company buy your own router and modem to save more $$. Anything over 150mpbs is overkill and a waste of money IMO
if you play fortnite read this
AT&T is slow wifi it has low speed and its not for you its garbage on fortnite if you want a 1000 ping keep it
Specturm is the wifi for u to play fortnite if u want 0-50 ping
If you were uploading at 4 megabytes per second and you had a 2 Gigabyte file it would not take hours it would take a little over 8 minutes
It’s important to know that att offers internet in 2 different ways copper and fiber based on the speeds he was talking about he has copper…if he would have had fiber then it would have blown spectrum out of the water 1000 up and 1000 down with low ping of 2 or 4 and plus its over provisioned to where u could easily see 1500 if your wired without congestion again that’s only on fiber tho
Don’t buy spectrum I have it and it is terrible
spectrum after 1 year starts Fucking wth your service so it keeps disconnecting and Hikes the bill by $20 wihout ANY notice Im tearing my shit out of the wall and putting it outside for them to come and get I HOPE its raining when I do it then the stuff will get ruined ..on top of that it took OVER a moth at first to get it working right …DO NOT go with Spectrum internet
How reliable is Spectrum and where do you live? Most people I hear from say Spectrum is not too good.
We need to know if it’s fiber or not bro! Probably isn’t this looks like a cable internet installation.
Is this in Fayetteville, NC. ?
i have no problems with AT&T but they only offered 50 megabits download in my part of the city, other parts of the city had ATT fiber just not my part, i got tired of waiting and paying 50 bucks a month for 50mpbs…i switched to Spectrum yesterday, i have 400 megabit package for 60 bucks a month, life is good lemme tell ya!
Its MEGABIT PER SECOND FFS
I've had both AT&T and Spectrum both of them are good for the first week or two and then boom both suppliers slow down the internet speed by quite a bit it's not fair it's not right but that's what the service employees from both suppliers told me, so pretty much you're screwed you'll never get what you pay for.
My dude at unlimiteddataservices.com is only 83 dollars a month . Hes has 24/7 support and has sold 110 unit and has 15 employess hit this dude up.
Spectrum was so horrible when I had it I got Verizon and lifes so much better. But it could be your location cause I loved at&t when I lived with my brother
but att fiber is much faster
I just got spectrum gig service and I clocked 940 mbs download and 40 mbs upload connected through the Ethernet! It’s awesome. I used to get 900 mbs download and 700 mbs upload with att fiber, but the hidden charges were terrible.
Mega bits not megabyte.
Go to the at&t website and check to see if your address is eligible for at&t fiber. Theres a good chance you are if you can get at&t and spectrum at your location. If at&t fiber is anything like fios, you'll get symmetrical speed FTTH. Thats means gig speeds for both down and up via fiber optics that terminates in your home. And its cheaper (should be) or at least competitive to spectrums prices. Correct me if im wrong but spectrum tech is inferior. Your getting asymmetrical speeds via coaxial cable.
It depends where u live
Got rid of Verizon last year same reason. Charter is definitely better.
ONE GUY LIKES ATT OVER SPECTRUM AND THE OTHER GUY RAVES ABOUT SPECTRUM ????
I got AT&T gig 2 weeks ago and only have been getting 300 Mbps download. I wanted to try a new gateway but they said my 5 year old custom gaming PC couldn't handle it. After complaining on their AT&T forum they are finally mailing me a new gateway.
Spectrum is pure dogshit.
I recently got rid of AT&T!!!
Why don’t you pay for YouTube Premium to skip the commercials. Get the family plan 14.99 a month.
Idk if any of them is good….
Hopefully at&t will upgrade your area to Fiber one day.

Megabit not byte why does everyone get it wrong
Watching this with AAT 85/30 and still buffering
MB = MegaByte
Mb = Megabit
GB = GigaByte
Gb = Gigabit
There's a massive difference between B and b. ?
