For "fans of the brodeo genre" this discussion of who's reviewing what and the problem with assigning scores from the developer, reviewer and reader perspective is interesting so many years down the road. While the boys are a bit up their own butt in this convo because I don't think readers really cared THAT much about review scores I do appreciate that they cared so much to justify or critique their review process. However time passed on and so did review scores. Almost all the review type magazines have died. Now people watch people play games to form their own opinions so a scoring system doesn't even matter. It's just interesting to me that their concern kinda worked itself out and that no one does traditional reviews anymore. Now we have "let's plays" twitch and other streaming. That's how I see if I want to play a game these days.
