9. In TikTok's defense, let's be real, he's just banning them because of the Tulsa rally sabotage. Zoom could be a threat, but do you ever see anyone ever go after Zoom? No. He doesn't even support it being bought by Microsoft, which would clear it of the potential Chinese spyware.

15. Originally I supported TikTok being banned, but now I think Microsoft controlling TikTok would be better. I'd rather have something be controlled by a far lesser evil than the CCP rather than banning it, after all, if the US were to ban TikTok, it would make us no different than China when they ban our sites and apps.

    Of course, if China uses this as an attempt to get information on the US from Microsoft, THEN I'd support a ban of TikTok.

This is about competition, it's no coincidence that Instagram Reels had just come out, it's about US companies like Facebook feeling threatened about TikTok and banning it not because of security, but about having a monopoly on user data. If it's free, you are the product.
