I am just waiting for another worldwide app like tiktok, cause the main issue for me is that tiktok is the place where i got meme like stuff and now that it is only banned in India I cant see them but the people i followed were mostly from outside India so they are still using tiktok. Right now I am just hoping that tiktok gets banned worldwide (except china, idc about them honestly) and that a new viral app is made to replace that, maybe something like Byte, that is as per rumors from the creators of Vine, but for some reason is region locked for US only I think

  19. Basically, there race been these applications and everyone is getting the users. If we just talk about Instagram, there are 165 M, active Indian users (End of June). Whereas Tiktok had 200M active Indian users.
    Hence, Instagram just wants to grab this opportunity to dominate the Indian social media market as its biggest competitor TikTok is throw out of the market.

    And answers to your question, most of the people are moving to Instagram as It has great video quality, Brand standard, and so-called so call Cilicanvally technology standard. Whereas the local Indian application(excluding roposo) is struggling in managing digital traffic and other technical bugs.

    Accounts completely and believe me after one week i am feeling like why i wasted my so much time in such useless things.
    Being with loved once is so joyful i do not regret my decision ?‍?‍?‍??
    Also i dont need new mobile now i can stay with my iphone 6s without any doubt for another two years, and the surprising thing is that the battery last long ??

  27. We fully support ban on 59 Chinese Apps including tiktok. Its a part of plan to imply economic costs on Chinese Expansionism.We have also cancelled many contracts to Chinese companies….Planning to kick out ZTE and Huawie from Indian telecommunications sector.

  32. Instagram doesn't has 'reach to all Indian people'. Instagram won't be successful in India as Tik Tok was, but India has 'ROPOSO' ( Tik Tok option) and most importantly it's 'Made in India'.

  35. Indian's doesn't hate tik tok platform, they hate the indian content creators in tik tok which creates cring n ridiculous content. The lack of creativity n real talent on the platform made Indian's hate the platform more. Which added by the india china conflict that banned the platform completely.

    The platform didn't had strict rules n regulations on content shown on the platform which ends up making animal brutality video's and other very disturbing content which can never be posted on any other responsible & huge platform.

The problem in India is that people misused TikTok, there was a large portion of content in TikTok India that had animal abuse, sexual content etc. Also, most of the videos/trends that got 'viral' on TikTok were silly and blatant stupid (search TikTok Joker or TikTok India cringe) , and the reason why they went viral is that TikTok pushed that content for whatever reason, cringe content would straight away go viral. YouTube on the other hand, does a great job at reducing the reach of such content, there is a LOT of sexual content on YouTube India, but it is not pushed to people's screens…
