  15. Why tf did they put it on YouTube? I’m afraid people are not gonna like the first episode and therefore won’t watch the other episodes on Netflix.
    If you didn’t like the first episode (maybe you thought it was boring…) still watch the other episodes on Netflix. It’s getting better. I promise.
    Episode three literally killed me.?the cap scene and then joeys crying in the bathroom really touched me.

    I’ve watched joeys parts a couple of times. I love this girl so much??and I feel so sorry for her. Odessas acting was so good. She’s an amazing actor. For real she is the main reason to watch grand army.

    it’s so much better than most of the other shows on Netflix. It’s about teenagers,who all go through some shit…especially Joey. It’s extremely relatable and real.

    And the cast is amazing. Their acting was phenomenal.

  20. Most accurate and realistic representation of teen life in america on netflix i have ever seen I’m shocked. I’ve always wanted a show like this in this kind if style and the fact that I randomly cane across it and it touched on everything i wanted to see is amazing plus the fact that it takes place in Queens makes it even better. We def need a season two. That ending was so touching y’all did amazing on this ?

    If you think the first episode is boring…I promise you it’s getting better. Once you watch episode three you won’t be able to stop.

  30. Please watch it? I NEED another season.
    Normally I don’t really care too much if series get another season or not but this time it’s different. Normally I’m sad if a show gets canceled but in this case I’m gonna be devastated. It’s my favorite show and it can’t end like this?

    (I want Leila to get her shit together. I want Sid to be happy with his sexuality. Of course I want Dom and Jayson to be happy as well.)

    But most importantly I want everyone to believe Joey. Therefore I want Tim to tell everyone the truth…”Joey did not lie. Luke and George did rape her while I was sitting right next to them and doing nothing to prevent it”
    I’m going to be so mad if she doesn’t get the justice she deserves. Imagine being raped by your best friends and almost no one believes you because they think you’ re a slut (even though you aren’t) Your whole life falls apart, you loose all your friends, you cry everyday while your rapists are not charged with anything because there isn’t enough evidence to make it a real case.

    And I know it’s just a show. I don’t care. I still want Joey to be happy again otherwise I’m never going to watch anything on Netflix again?

  34. Joey is my favorite character. I’ve watched her parts a couple of times now. I’m so sorry what happened to her and I hope she gets justice in season two. She was really confident in the first two episodes and then her “friends” destroyed her. I felt so bad for her. Every time she cried I wanted to cry as well. They literally could not have picked a better person to play her than Odessa (, who is now my favorite actress.)

    I’m literally gonna cry if they cancel grand army. It’s a show that depicts on many issues most teenagers go through in real life…sexual assault, poverty, sexuality, not knowing your identity, losing friends, etc. It therefore forces us to talk about those important topics.

    I promise you it’s worth watching. At first I thought it was kind of boring but it turned out to be one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. When I think about it…it actually is my favorite show.
    It just came out two weeks ago and I’ve already watched it more than twice and I probably gonna watch it again soon (at least some parts)

  38. i assume they can make stories out of these characters and maybe they focused on joey a bit this season. or maybe it was just that hard to not focus on her for me. but i wonder if next season will be similar. everyone has problems but someone has a spotlight on their problems. who will it be idk.
