  1. If you cant get it at the store before Christmas, just wrap up the accessories to put under the tree and get it the week after. Wait long enough and the scalpers might be cheaper than the store.

  3. Its happening with more than just Target now. Best Buy has canceled a number of pre-orders, and GameStop has also started sending customers emails at random letting them know "hey your pre-order is still good and thanks for your money but you're gonna still not get it this year"

  12. This whole thing is ridiculous. Just wait a few months people. Who cares about getting shit when things first come out, there are always bugs anyway and in a short time after you already know they will release a ps5 pro

  13. What piss me off is that amazon & some retailers r selling there Ps5 consoles through ebay to get more money through bidding.
    In the UK. so far I found Amazon & Argos r doing it in plain sight.

  14. This makes me sad for all of the people who will miss the launch window. Me personally, I'm gonna wait until supply is steady. As much as I want it, I can't in good conscience add to the demand because that just validates scalpers and pushes their prices up further.

    My PS3 / PS4 backlog will tide me over anyway ?

  18. I got an email that it said that my lre ordered was canceled then a follow up email came out that said that it was an error and that my pre order wasn't canceled…..hmmm

  19. This is why it’s always best to pre order in person, so that way the store knows how many consoles it will receive. Otherwise, for those online pre orders it’s not 100% guaranteed which can be canceled at any given moment with a e-mail notification. Especially, for those people who didn’t get their PS5 pre orders in on wave’s 1 & 2. Not to mention, for the online pre orders, I have heard a background credit check is required which is another headache that’s not worth it.

  22. I ordered mines on BestBuy and paid in full day one on pre-order, no issues or cancelations on my end luckily. Hopefully they'll have some in store for those who couldn't get one

  24. I'm worried because they put a hold on my money for almost a month the released it and I'm wondering if they may try to put a hold again while I don't have enough in that account..shitty system, take the money and keep it dammit.

  29. I'm glad I have a huge backlog of PS4 games that will keep me occupied until probably 2022 lol. Heck I just played Uncharted 1-4 just this week lol.

Didnt happen to me on my pre order in canada cuz i check my email its still there that i paid xbox series X full prices and call my eb games manager he said yes it will be coming and ur name on our retail customers is on the list pre order so yeah ur all good and set and ready to pick it up on launch day

  33. While it's all marketing psychology, I kind of like the next gen hype for new consoles. It feels like a big event. I've been playing mainly on PC for the past few years and you just don't get that excitement for new hardware (for me at least). Regardless if it's all just a marketing strategy, the fact of the matter is that it works.

    Also, hot take, I thought TLOU2 was better than the first for me.
