1. Or indecisive nature drives me insane but I cant stop watching. You should do sleep meditation for kids as your voice is so soothing. Keep up the great work.

  2. You keep trying to get oxygen out of your steam rooms by opening the side. Just open a block on the top. The oxygen will be forced upwards and out with no effort. Just like the hydrogen in your steam rocket room. You had vacuum all around why make a pump to move it when just opening it to space would be easier?

  3. The amount of gantries is total overkill. The only places a gantry is needed is the Command Capsule and, if you use it the solid oxidizer tank and the solid fuel thruster. You can put the steel to better use. Especially if you want to build a rocket chute. Ladders are enough to build the rocket parts.

  4. Why not just open up one of the insulated roof tiles at the steam generator instead of putting in a vent and pipes? The roof is exposed to space, so the hydrogen will naturally vanish.

  5. The best mod-free trick I learned to make my dupes auto-clear regolith is to order ceiling lights or planter boxes on every tile regolith can fall. They clear the regolith if it ever falls there, but they will never build the light because it doesn't have a foundation. Works great for early telescope and rocket programs.

  6. Hey, quick tip: you can make power free filters that would fit your purpose. Just slap a Gas/Liquid pipe element sensor, connected to a NOT gate, immediately before a vent (high pressure is better). It's 4 tiles big and allows you to pipe a fluid and automatically eject the rest.
Won't work if you actually try to separate and use two fluids, but that works wonders when you just want THAT element. They're also much quicker to build.

  7. Every level should have one tile lip on each side to prevent liquid spillovers. Sweeping up is key to preventing carbon dioxide and chlorine from melting. You have enough room on the map to make all rooms bigger. Create a pit and use bottle emptier s for oil, salt water, etc.

  8. OK so why didn’t you do it in the I am in the steam room. And have it ready to love it with insulated pipe service to generators create more energy just a curiosity

  9. The steam rocket puts out more steam than it takes to launch, which is really great if you need water. The best way to optimize its output though is to build a large rocket chimney at the bottom of you map and launch your steam/hydrogen rockets from there.

  10. Francis John I watch, he's akin to Brothgar, but he doesn't go into all the boring background data and explain the algorithms beyond "what you need to know to make it work" not "how can we squeeze every possible x out of this" approach. Brothgar is good when you want to delve into the nooks and crannies, Francis John is good for when you want to get a good idea how it works, and you're more "not only will you learn something, but you'll be entertained as well'

  11. You could theoretically use the regolith at the top. And item rails. To heat up the steam. And cool the regolith so u can drop it into ur shogul farm serving 2 purposes. Steam generation and food generation.
Also. The long steam rocket tunnel. Is a great idea. Generates lots of heat and water for the base.

  12. * Your oil well liquid lock naturally overflows. That can be the whole point of such designs. To pour the oil into a tank below. You could use a pressure sensor to stop the oil well when the oil is high
    * LOL @ the gantries. I like to build them at all levels, but doubling up is total overkill

  13. Вот бы я еще знал английский). Если тут кто говорящий на единственно верном языке?)
