  1. A very classy and thoughtful interview. Kylie was open and Zane was very kind and respectful. Thanks for ‘weirding out’, Zane. I’m a Kiwi and grew up with Kylie – from first album and every one thereafter. Lots of insight and honesty and joy here. I love the Prince reference and hope Kylie can reclaim ‘Baby Doll’. Despite the confessional, ‘Miss a Thing’ is one of the strongest tracks on the fabulous DISCO album. I personally love ‘Celebrate You’, a song that vaunts friendship while the piano and beat in the chorus recall ‘Better the Devil You Know’, a ground-breaking pop song for Kylie, which makes the song more moving and uplifting. ?

  2. I met her by chance in Dublin in the mid 90's by chance. I couldn't believe how tiny she was. She had her hair scraped up into a tiny cap and was in flat shoes with no makeup on. She was shopping on her own and was quite happy to stroll around the place where I worked without being disturbing. I said…are you kylie? and she said yea…but ssshhh…it's nice to meet you. What's your name? I told her and we talked for about 2 minutes and then she said she was off shopping. Lovely lady.

  3. Kylie is super sweet and nice. The interviewer is not that good though – he talks no less than Kylie herself and mostly just compliments about how amazing she is. That's pointless to us, viewers. I would like him asking her many detailed questions – when she started working on the album and how, did she have to travel, plans for the tours, amount of people involved, composers, etc.

  4. I remember the first time I heard "I Should Be So Lucky" when I was still the 4th Grade.
It was a different time than it is now in my country back in 1988, we were quite left behind from most of The Worldwide Song Chart at that time. So basically whatever song released in other Country (US/UK/Australia), we could only hear them 2-3 months after the released date in our Local Radio Chart, and will have to wait for another 2 months before The Album was released in CASSETTE TAPE form… ???

I remember asking my mother to buy me Kylie's Album as my 1st Cassette ever… and I never lose my favorite towards her ever since…

I think this Interview was one of her most honest and full of her musical ideas, concept thoughts and all of those details that sometimes, as one of her long time fans — I felt that she's sharing her dreams/passions/experience to the people/fans around her… and that was A LUXURY to be able to hear a glimpse of the stories…

WE LOVE YOU Miss Kylie Minogue … ???

  5. Im not gonna lie, Disco is the best album of Anglophone in 2020. Each of the songs arrangements are single-worthy. She beats Gaga and Lipa absolutely without all the buzz and promotions.

  6. You can feel their synergy. Great interview. Love the openness we see in this interview. Amazing to see when Zane is genuinely excited and invested in an artist and their journey.

  7. Love this interview and their chemistry! He seems truly and fully interested in her answers and the questions were spot on. Many interviewers don't usually get this excited and interested in the interview and artist. Also, Kylie is so humble and generous, and she seems to undermine how much of a groundbreaking impact she's had on music, her fans and the world…she knows I'm positive but she's so thankful and gracious for her success and fans..such a dynamite woman ???

  8. I love the way Kylie dresses these days. The kind of sexy that she’s bringing is not the same as 10 years ago. It’s definitely more grown. It’s something that Jlo and Madonna should take note of

  9. After Impossible Princess it's obvious how she's scared to experiment again, which is a little sad but Disco is a great album after a long time!
