DreamcastGuy Vid:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v = dQBfmb76Fyg Patreon:http://www.patreon.com/shawnlong Twitter:http://twitter.com/rgt_85 Facebook:http:// www。 facebook.com/rgt85 #XboxSeriesS #XboxSeriesX #Xbox。

  1. Honestly it pisses me off to think to get a digital only console that will force me to spend another 300 bucks for additional space. At this point it was better to make it at $400 but with 2 TB of internal SSD storage.

  2. Let's not forget there's the possibility to plug an external HDD/SSD on the Xbox Series, which can stock the games on (not play the new games, can play only Xbox, 360 and One games directly from the external HDD/SSD) and simply put them on the internal SSD when you wanna play it ! That would be a great thing for me that I focus on one or 2 games at the same time ? and 1080p is fine for me, I can't afford a 2k-4k TV so for now I'd be ok if I buy the Series S

  3. Depending on the game engine and how it’s rendered, 900p doesn’t scale properly in my eyes. It’s a very weird scaled ratio and I’d actually prefer 720p so things scale down properly.

  4. You can also use an existing external HD on the series S & X, not as fast as the SSD but still a very affordable option. (Edit: currently external drive only works for older games from xbox one, 360 etc)

  5. Most players over the years of these 9th generation consoles will buy into more storage for their, 9th generation console games.Probably once the prices for the additional storage fall, but yes most players will buy more additional storage. These 9th generation consoles will be here for at least 5 years and you as a user really not expanding your console storage during this time really?

  6. My PS4 only came with 500gb aswell and I’ve never needed to buy storage your probably only ever going to be playing say 4 or 5 games at the same time so when your finished with a certain game just delete it you can re download purchased games at any time for free so you can always get the latest games still and not worry about space all owned games can be re down loaded if you ever want to go back to them

  7. As I’m more of a PlayStation/ Switch guy, I think it’s gonna be a great chance for me to try the Xbox for a cheaper price. Very keen to try Xbox game pass to play lots of games I’ve never had the chance to play before!?

  8. This console is amazing for secondary rooms like my bedroom or my kid's bedrooms. I don't get why people hate choice. No one is making people get a S over a X…

  9. Nope seagate's already partnered with Microsoft Microsoft and then on purpose because they want to be the only ones making money they're not going to lend that to any other company you will only be able to get their hard drives from Seagate

  10. Dudes like there's a game that runs at 4k on the series s and I get all excited and it's a little chibi webe lego ripoff type of thingand it's like yeah sure games like that are going to run 4K but wait until you see what's going to happen when they try to put big taxing games like call of duty and Grand theft Auto and Halo on there

  11. I don’t play a lot of games, i.e. FIFA, GTA, and whichever game that may have caught my eye. So do you guys think this storage issue will be a problem for me?

  12. Gotta say….MOST of this was solid. Once homie got to the hardcore gamer vs casual gamer and Series S might be lower frames he lost me. The Series S AND X have literally the SAME exact cpu in both boxes. Only the gpu and ssd size are different btwn the 2( And to a small extent clock speeds). That means if the fps is a non issue for the X, it will also be a non issue for the S. Honestly the S might be the more consistent of the 2 consoles with FPS when it's all said and done MAINLY bc it ISN'T shooting for the best visual fidelity. So any games that can comfortably hit 1080 will do so easily at 60 frames minimum. And if it doesn't that is SQUARELY on the developer.

This unwritten rule making the rounds with all these Series S reviews is getting out of hand. There's tons of youtubers going around basically saying that "hardcore gaming" is directly and exclusively associated with "4k gaming". And it's insanely out of pocket. There is a healthy amount of "hardcore gamers" out there on ALL platforms that will GLADLY take the assurance of high frames per second and flawless performance over visual fidelity any day of the week. Case and point: you literally can not find a single esports gamer anywhere that sees 4k resolution and ray tracing and all those "bells and whistles" as an absolute necessity to their competitive experience. Nah they all want performance. That's why on PC a lot of these guys instantly turn all their graphic settings down soon as they boot a game up.

Anyone that strictly associates 4k and hdr and ray tracing as hardcore but performance as casual really doesn't have much of an out to comment on such things. With respect.

  13. Eh, some people are mad because this is supposed to be next gen but it really isn't. The lower end PS5 is basically the same thing minus the disc drive. This system downgrades graphics and the amount of storage. A few people I know only got the S because they couldn't get the big boy and they now they feel cheated out of their purchase. The Switch comparison is not really equal, it was known what the difference would be out the gate, Microsoft held onto this info maybe on purpose maybe not until the majority of preorders were gone.

  14. Smartest YouTuber on the platform thank u for clearing the air a Nintendo fan just made ever ps fanboy feel dumb an ever Xbox fanboy say thank you

  15. with that amount of money you could get a used PS4 with a couple of best exclusive games from Sony, with series S what do you get????? mehh .. let's be real now, not all gamers that rich

  16. There’s only a select few games optimised I’ll end up playing on my series s.
The new call of duty, halo mcc, fifa 21, fortnite and gears of war. Even with the new call of duty, I can just uninstall campaign and zombies, which I’ll never play anyway.
I have a 960GB SSD for all other Xbox one games and series s games for cold storage.
Third party Xbox SSDs will be released in the coming months, so I’m not at all worried about storage space, it’s not groundbreaking on the series s
X either, especially if you have game pass
I have a 1080p tv so I’m not bothered about 4k, I have no interest

  17. I'm hoping the comments section will save me….. I've not owned a console since about 2004. But I did play Battlefield 2 online on PC in 2007/8 (ish) and loved the online multiplayer.

What game would you recommend I get for the Series S when it arrives that would give me that army/team player kind of experience?

    Cheers all

  18. If yakuza like a dragon is going to be the point of comparison, isnt the series s pushing above its weight?

The series x can only do 60fps at 1440p, whilst the series s does 30fps at 1440p. Isn't that half the performance? The console is supposed to be 1/3 of the power of the series x and it's now a problem that it 'only' manages half the output of the x? Can people not do math?

Obviously, yakuza like a dragon is not a particularly well optimised games for next gen, because no way should the series s be pushing all the way up to half the series x output so why don't we just drop that game out of the discussion?

  19. 4K is way over rated. Fps is more important. Also 500 gb is enough, as deleting and reinstalling something is not that much of a hassle. What a bunch of whiners who even begins to think about loudly complainting about something so arbitrary

  20. Just a reminder – DO NOT BUY THE OFFICIAL EXPANDABLE STORAGE FOR THE SERIES S! Sure, if you're more worried about convenience than cost, then buy it. For everyone else, grab a 4TB HDD for $100-$150 bucks.

That's the best way to store games in your queue, stock up on last gen games (especially since last gen games can be played from the HDD), or store games that you've beaten and you're not ready to delete yet.

Some triple A games are ballooning in size but many aren't. There's a lot of great games that are 60 gigs or less. You can be playing Doom Eternal, Ace Combat 7, The Outer Worlds, Sekiro, Resident Evil 7, and Watch Dogs Legion while only using up a little over 200 gigs.

And yeah, you can have all those games on your SSD at once, but are you playing all those games at once? Maybe you are. But if not then store them on a HDD and just transfer them over when you're ready. That's a lot of money saved for some very minor inconvenience.

  21. The Xbox Series S will actually cost most gamers more money throughout the Next Gen lifespan than just paying the extra money up front. Buying used games is a massive bonus if you don't have the money. By getting rid of the disc option you are going to be at the mercy of Microsoft's shop prices. On top of that READ the marketing. Frame rate UP TO 120fps. Want to make a bet the S won't keep up with the X in frame rates? 12 Teraflops processing power in the X vs just 4 in the S… do the math yourself there. True 4k vs 1440p might not be overwhelming now, but if we are talking YEARS ahead, you might change your mind. 1TB hard drive in the X vs 512Gb … It's just NOT worth getting the S IMHO. Not to mention that the PAYMENT PLANS are only a few bucks different per month. Getting the S just to get on board early cheaper is a bad idea all round. I have no idea what people are thinking when they say they can't afford the X when they are able to buy $70 plus games.
