11. If only….What a terrible series for anyone over 13…and under 13 because for some reason they felt obliged to add sex. Remove the sex and young girls might enjoy the fashion and fantasy. What a waste of adult time…ghastly. Horrible acting, script, fake scenery.

12. This show is entertaining but unreal. I’m not French but there are things that are very offensive. They make it look like French people are undisciplined and kind of sexist.

What is particularly endearing with this series is that it takes the viewers through some of the most "popular" ideas people have about other cultures (relationships, openness, work, sex, eating, drinking, behaviour around the dining table) right before showing everyone's basic humanity, of course with a twist. Unfortunately, portraying French people talking in English to each other, or a group of Chinese ladies busy making a point… in English while in Paris, is clearly a disservice to the aforementioned point. C'est un peu, même beaucoup… comment dirait-on… gauche.
