  6. Logic Pro is 3x faster than i3 Mac mini with 16gb ram. Please check the details on the website. Apple was extremely misleading.

  10. You’re even more hyped than Renee Richie. Get ready for disappointment. It’s going to be a good machine for some uses but temper tour expectations or your going to slingshot again. This is why I don’t subscribe to your channel.

  13. Note that the PC DESKTOP you're referring to is an ENTRY-LEVEL PC DESKTOP… watch out for the MARKETING involved on Apple's presentation…

  14. It's great that this will push AMD and Intel more but by no ways is this replacing a dedicated gaming machine. Mac's have always been known for productivity so this will just solidify that. But I still imagine real world will be less realistic than the stats they throw up. Improving processor power is always good for everyone though.

  16. I will be upgrading my MacBook, but I want to see what the 2021 models are like first. I don't even normally need more than 2 ports, but I would like to have them for the occasion that I do need more than 2.

  17. Still waiting for the next gen MacBooks, with redesign. I have no doubt that the next year will be very exciting. If I had to buy a new Mac today, I would go for the new Mac Mini. Personal favorite of this event. Great video as always.

  18. I don’t think Apple is getting rid of Integrated Graphics. They only added the M1 chip by itself to the versions of the Macs that have always only had Integrated Graphics. Next year they will probably unveil their Discreet Graphics chip (or a SoC with a much larger GPU)

  19. I love your enthusiasm and I hope it's well founded. I think I'm a bit more skeptic at this point, but I really hope that the Minis are exactly what they say and maybe even better. I'm still on my Late 2013 MacPro and it's on it's last legs, but there just isn't anything really available that I can afford to replace it. The current MacPro is absolutely ridiculously priced at it's entry level and isn't really worth it's cost until around spending $12k. Otherwise, I sure as heck don't need a new monitor to come with my computer, so that makes the iMac pretty worthless for me. The Mini has always been my hope, but graphics performance has sucked and I hate the idea of an eGPU.  
    For me, it's gonna really come down to how well that graphics performance on the new ones pan out and if the small amounts of RAM go as far or further than my current 64GB on my MacPro.
    I am also disappointed that absolutely nothing is upgradeable post-purchase. I'll be waiting for all of the reviews in the next week or so to see if there is finally something to replace my dying 7 year old champ.

  20. I didn't see real numbers , beating intel integrated graphics is not a big accomplishment, but for the apple ecosystem the benefits will show up , also the really amazing thing is the battery life, but limited ports and repair issues will be worse.

  22. I ordered the MacBook Air 1TB/16gb to replace my old venerable 2015 i7 MacBook Pro. Pretty safe bet that even though I'm going from a Pro to an Air is going to give me a significant performance boost with the M1, especially considering the age of the machine. We'll see. It's not like I do much video editing anymore, it's mainly going to be Photoshop. I'm just going to miss the old MacBook onboard SD reader, etc, but I'll just use the dongles I've been using with my iPad Pro.

  27. Y'all hyping the most vague press conference ever made on planet Earth. The only thing Apple announced solid numbers on are the battery life. Everything else was vague nonsense. "Oh, we're faster than the top Windows laptop." Which one? What metric are you using to determine this? No one knows because Apple didn't answer. Quit hyping this until we have real valid numbers.

  30. I bought the pro mainly because it has a fan and I believe that will help with throttling and longevity of the device. We’ll see I can always downgrade to the air if I don’t need it

  31. Subscriber numbers. I subscribed before you started your club l was clear no money was involved. Nowadays you & your pals Vyyyper & co are always pushing for cash membership at the same time. This is confusing, so new viewers are in doubt whether they are are simply hitting a normal utube button or landing a sale for yet another subscription. As s group you are getting what we Brits would term a little big headed. Also nothing personal, but utubers merch is pretty trashy this side of the pond.

  34. I think the apple chips are interesting but i really don't like they now don't allow you to upgrade any of their machines and that they will lock their OS down even further. I sure hope other manufacturers and and operating systems don't copy that.

  36. This is a great thing for everyone. Not everyone will need that much performance power. The Intel Mac lines should drop like a stone in price. FYI I'm subscribed to your channel ??

  39. The next model (14"?.. finally??) will be the one to get. Whatever bugs with BigSur and the M1 will be worked out, and we'll probably get some improvements we want.. like an upgraded webcam lol, or perhaps a fancy screen with higher refresh rate?, or perhaps a 14" screen.. or maybe even some more useful ports (lolol yea right). looking forward to it. I'm waiting on a 14" M2.
