?订阅https://www.youtube.com/reneritchie?sub_confirmation=1 Apple Silicon Mac讲解者https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3XJJi5sAjD1sCicSKd0irf5TnQ1KJvPm iPhone 12完整报道https://www.youtube.com/ playlist?list = PL3XJJi5sAjD2LB0JCY51r8prmCerrwaxI苹果新产品2020 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3XJJi5sAjD1hF3n4xS63sH5TAyhz2Zzr?特别感谢卢克(https://www.patreon.com) Pasco,Jeffrey David Marraccini,Bill Duenges,Chad Valencia,Odi Kosmatos,Mark Lussier,Martin Perry,Connor Porter,Christopher Wiggins,Jon Wheeler,Josef,Frederick Lakes Jr.,Steven Perry,Scott Graham,Aziz Rahman,Nick Florez,Robert Simplicio,Ruben Flores,Philippe Bueche,Michael Dreves,Sam Fingold,Front Tech,Sven Jasper,Clive,Kyle Giglio,Lance Advanced,Sridhar Ayala,Dude,Rod Gray,Samantha Alice Raven,Damien Menn,Matt Matasso,Frank Kurka,雷吉·杰克逊大师,丹尼尔·平托。 Twitter:https://twitter.com/reneritchie?Instagram:https:/ /instagram.com/reneritchie?网站:https://www.reneritchie.net?播客:http://apple.co/reneritchie?阴天:https://overcast.fm/p1644160-NUVafv?Pocket Cast:https: //pca.st/reneritchie感谢您的收看,我们下一个视频见! 。

  1. What a shitty video with absolute no useful info in answering the video’s title. Such a waste of time. You are basically repeating whatever apple announced in their keynote. Delete this useless video with absolutely no extra or useful Info. And you call yourself a ‘tech person’? Come on

  2. well I got my MacBook air 2 days ago and OMG is it ever fast!!! I am loving it. the only thing that I can find is it gets really hot when playing games like Civilization 6 which I did for several hours. I used the civ 6 benchmarks and it ran the game at 900p ultra graphics settings at 120FPS with no lag or slowdown. that is the highest settings that civ 6 allowed me to run the game at as it could not determine what GPU I was running. other than the heat issue I have had no problems. it runs all my apps just fine. if you go to the app store log in and click on your name it will pop up a list of mac apps that you own and iPad apps that you own that are not installed on your device. not all of the iPad apps allowed me to download them but the mac apps all did so I could get a lot of apps. even facebook for iPad was able to install on my mac and i thought the they were not going to allow that app to run on a M serious mac. well so far so good and I can't wait to keep trying it out to see how it performs and see what else apple comes up with in the future.

  3. Most of your analysis is wrong and biased by Apple Marketing. Having support for exotic hardware is not a CPU concern, but an OS concern. The M1 win is about 5nm vs the 10nm of Intel. It's not about numbers of transistors, or how pretty colors are, it's about THERMALS. Intel was digging its own hole sticking with 10nm, specially with hardware design of mac books (almost no cooling). Adopting ARM is easier than x86 to implement and may be future marketing or strategic lock downs in the ecosystems. Where I am impressed, is the possibility to run compiled x86 software with seamless virtualization.

  4. Responding to your video:

5:09 – So I can somewhat understand why the first iteration of Apple Silicon might not support eGPUs but I still think that's really poor as these lower-end Macs are the perfect candidates to be paired with an eGPU to say run those extra displays or just to give it a bit more oomph whilst also having long battery life when portable.

6:28 – Agreed. That's why it's so damn hard when you've got a 2011 11" MacBook Air, just screaming out to be put out of it's misery and now I'm staring down the barrel of that 'unknown' months wait for the 'proper' MacBook Pros. Will it be 3 months, will it be 6? Please don't be 9 or even 12 months!!! ?

    6:42 – Lol "C-Fed", he's aight ?

10:28 – What is the info around Virtual Machines? This is one of my use-cases, so very interested to know if Apple Silicon will run an x86-64 VM using say VirtualBox?

  5. After hearing all this, I really think switching to Apple. But their computers are so awkward that I can not stand working with them longer than a couple of hours, and after that working on PC is like taking hollidays.

  6. Little confused, MKBHD just did a transcode in final cut pro and the Intel macbook pro completed the transcode 2 minutes faster than the M1 macbook pro. I thought final cut was optimized for M1? Why the disparity?

  7. I tried ipad twice and had macbook pro in the past too… in the end I always went back to PC/ android because file management drove me crazy. I got ipad pro 2 yrs ago to edit photos and drone video on. But couldn't even load the files in properly thru the SD dongle … just giant PITA… NOW … if they really come thru with the promises and OSX will ve able to run iOS apps seemlesly… I'm willing to swith to macbook air/ iphone/ imac ecosystem.

  8. I’m interested to see how these low powered chips are able to handle photo editing in Lightroom, when using selective edits my intel core i5 chokes with the integrated graphics and slow RAM.

  9. It's very promising what they're attaining so far but there are a few caveats they need to solve in the next few years: eGPU support (SoC GPU is amazing, but there will be a need to get even more power for very graphic intensive tasks), no BootCamp (I know this is part on MS side since they don't have full Windows ARM support yet, but many people and business love the ability to natively install both systems, Apple should be working closely with MS on this), limited upgrades and output ports (Thunderbolt 4, more ports, only up to 16GB of RAM, only up to 2TB SSD, no discrete GPU in the Pro model…).

  10. What is the latest pc laptop chip? What are the scales on these graphs? Where are the numbers? This is a nothing burger at its finest and its clear your blinded with hopeless optimism. We don't know that apple silicon crushes Intel which in and of it self isn't even a fair comparison. Your comparing an x86 chip to an Arm chip. Arm will perform better in certain tasks however there is no support and without knowing Rosette performance you could be straight out of luck when it comes to even the most basic of applications like photoshop. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.

  11. Wait wait wait. So in order to be able to use iOS you can only use apps from apples App Store????? That’s ridiculous why?? This seems like yet another step toward the mac not allowing third party
    App installs.

  12. Again Apple compares what they want.
A fair comparison would have been to use the eleventh generation of intel, with a different architecture but 5 nm ,that they released two month ago.

  13. As an analogy for the present time, the M1 ship is like an office full of people compared to everyone working from home. In the office you can see what everyone is up to and have quicker communication.
