My newborn died because of a Dr.s mistake and he had been called 4 times, but was at a staff Christmas party and l guess we were not important enough and by the time he did show up, he had a panicked looked on his face, shoved in the forceps, only to throw them across the room in frustration, but then he started pushing on my stomach/uterus, like he was giving it CPR and when he did that, the uterus then ruptured, ripping my daughter off the placenta and umbilical cord and thereby suffocating/drowning her under my ribs. l just about drowned myself. She was born on Dec.23/93 and was taken off life support on Dec.27/93. We settled out of court, but it was awful, the what ifs, the constantly praying, hoping they would call and say there was a mistake. My husband had an affair and we have been divorced since 8 yrs after it happened and l have been alone. My other children are grown and have lives of their own and are too busy to come and visit but they told me soon they would come.

  17. damn i'm really rooting for my fave actress Carey Mulligan for her powerhouse performance in Promising Young Woman especially she's been underrated so far and the fact she was robbed for her superior performance in An Education back in 2010, but Vanessa is also powerhouse here! Damn, i feel conflicted.

  22. Raw brilliant performances by all involved. Really delighted to see the entire film shot in Montreal Quebec Canada; renders an even more personal tone to the locals, such that I am. The only negative is Shia LaBoeuf's personal life that is out of control & from it, has directed bad press at him which in turn creates shadows on his performance & relevance to this film. To be accused of assault & domestic violence clashes with the very message of love & loss this movie transpires to address in times of a couple overcoming their sadness together.

  34. Wow. This is needed, issues like this are rarely focused on in movies. Lost my baby last year. Today would have been his first birthday, funny how YouTube suggested it today . He died 3 days after he was born. This movie I will definitely watch.
