can't speak for other brands, but don't underestimate the performance of Porsche SUV's. the Cayenne and the Macan are legitimately FASTER around a track than many cars. i took a track ride with an expert/pro driver at the wheel of a Macan last year and i thought WE WERE GOING TO DIE. it basically "reset my brain" as to what SUV's are capable of. prior to this point, if someone had told me that kind of speed was possible in a "truck" i wouldn't have believed them. yes this "description" and their "appearance" do CONTRADICT one another, but it's all true (for Porsche anyway).
