    19:20 This is emotionally exagerrated. Everything dies and repopulates – coral reefs are no different. The same thing happened in the 1980's, and likely many times before we started recording the data.

    27:52 How important is this part of the kelp forest? Do we have a use for urchin parts? Maybe we could responsibly harvest them if so? Also, why aren't there any otters harvesting there? Not enough information is given.

    44:10 Exactly. Incredibly quickly, I'd say. Things get bad in one area, but they get better in another; then, they get bad in that area, and they get better in the former. The cycle continues.

    I think overall this was a pretty good documentary – a bit too emotional at times, but still good. I don't disagree with creating sanctuaries at all, in fact, I support it (we are called to be good stewards of God's planet, and to subdue it responsibly). What I do disagree with is emotional manipulation; the argument was completely one-sided and didn't go into any sort of detail on how reefs or anything regrows/repopulates to better inform the viewer. It's like it just wanted to leave the viewer with the idea that they needed to do what the narrator suggests they should do (gov't regulations), instead of what they could do as individuals on their own (invest in land/beaches and create your own little sanctuary; dive in your free-time and harvest overpuplated urchins, etc.).
