  1. Indian content on Netflix is literally garbage…..?????…we have already seen this trash in many bollywood movies…again same on Netflix??

  2. I enjoyed the show.. The only thing I don't agree with is the extreme splurge but it's awesome how progressive this show is.. It is definitely more refreshing then the true crime and nonsensical Bollywood movies! Why can't people just enjoy instead of tearing things apart!!!

  3. Boy: will you marry me ?

Girl: do you have a house ?

    Boy: No, but ?

Girl: do you have a BMW car ?

    Boy : No, but ?

Girl : how much is your salary ?

Boy : no salary, but ?

Girl : you have Nothing, how can I marry you, just leave me, please.

    Girl leaves.

Now Boy talking to himself :
I have one villa, 3 plots, 1 ferrari, 2 porsche, 1 Lamborghini, why I still need to buy a cheap
BMW, and how can I get salary when actually I am the boss.
    MORAL :
Don't judge anyone without knowing the whole thing, be a listener ..

  4. There are so many serious issues plaguing India but looks like NETFLIX is only interested in showing how weddings happen in India. Documentaries are to bring change. Not a way for the producers and directors to make money while having a gala time!!!

  5. Frankly speaking , even being at one of these things gives me the cringe of a lifetime . The fundamental of "less is more" applies to weddings too . Shaadi kam nautanki jyada ho jaati hai . Despite of spending all that money , people end up Mocking something if not the whole thing .

  6. Rich people wedding more like rich people problems. To all my dear rich brats in this 3 episode long marketing ad, can you at all feel the pain when someone puts 251 INR shagun but in return eats 5 plates full of food for him and his family with 15 cups of ice cream? And would you consider it a nightmare if some random 9 year old girl comes and robbs the bag full of wedding gifts? Anyway, enjoy your Screaming Eagle Cabernet Sauvignon bottle at that Buddha bar of yours!

  7. I will not watch the show but the way you guys are reacting over this is absurd. Yes not everyone can afford these weddings but rich people can afford it right? You act like rich people don't exist. What's so wrong about having a lavish wedding? They're not using your money are they? Just say you're jealous and move on. Indian wedding is about the rituals and not the money okay? This is real indian wedding and the wedding you think is real is also real. Stop generalizing.

  8. It seems they are representing only 2% of rich person in India qho afford this type if Wedding. Then sorry it is not indian wedding it is called bulshit wedding.

  9. This blatant show of wealth seems obscene to me, especially in the light of what the world is going through. I am shocked netflix is bowing down to picking up content that is rooted neither in reality or credibility.

  10. Meh, looks like the collage of 5-6 pre-wedding and wedding shoots of rich north indians, with narration. I am bored of seeing the ones my friends post. Why would I watch those of strangers on Netflix??

  11. Loved the series. 3 episodes, 6 different weddings and ideas behind them. Each one is sooo different. Now that's how you take hold of your traditions and religions and not blindly follow them. With time, some traditions that add no meaning and are just the result of long ruling patriarchy should end. And these weddings were soo on point in their own way, following their own values.

  12. This is the most ridiculous waste of money when there are so many poor people in India. Unecessarily pretentious and showy.

  13. Marriage is something personal, and if they have a fortune, whats the problem? why are y'all so angry? all over the world there are rich people having extravagant weddings, not in India only. We will not always identify with something, not everything is done for us to identify with. Sad to say, but poor people's marriages don't give an audience. And those who give audience to this type of show are the lower class itself. The lower class itself wants to see those kind of stuff by curiosity, because they cant afford stuff like those. Simple. It may not be the reality of many of us, but its the reality of rich ass people.

  14. This is not wedding in india. it lacking diversity why media only shows north indian weddings Netflix totally avoiding south and northeast india.
    Showing only NRI wedding.
