So happy and moved to hear from so many of my GenX brothers and sisters.
We are the silent generation that does not complain , paid off student loans, raised families,
survived 3 economic collapses( 2001, 2008, 2020) in the prime of our lives, the first to inherit the post civil right era, to live through the aids and COVID pandemic, to see the the world before and after the smart phone,
Only three networks and two genders, Star Wars before we knew Vader was Luke’s dad, Star Wars before we learned Kathleen Kennedy was Darth Vader, the muppets before they were considered racist, Captain Kangaroo, The Electric Co, Dallas, BJ and the Bear( actually was a monkey) , Mary Tyler Moore show, Michael Jordan, the Crimson Tide with Bear Bryant, Land of the lost, Breakfast Club, The first of Madonna, R.E.M, INXS,Journey, Live Aid, the X Files, Die Hard, Indianan Jones, The Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, Kristy Brinkley, Watergate, Pete Rose, Kaitlyn Jener when she was a man and Marideth Baxter Berkley when he was a woman. But , I digress.

Strange to think that pre-internet seemed like a time of innocence. Wow. No regrets, love the 90s comeback of youth today. Helping them be sustainable too, shopping our now vintage fashions! Cringe….just please, don't bring back the saggy pants and boxers, no bring back Kris Kross, I dare ya.
