  1. I bought a steamer a couple years ago, thinking it would be easier than ironing. I found it took much longer and was less effective than ironing. And 6 inches away? The steam rises into the air by then. Steamer heads are made smooth so they can touch the fabric. For delicate fabrics you can hold it maybe 1 inch away. This is advised in several other videos on this topic.

  2. You literally just told us what steamers are and that you use them to get rid of creases and wrinkles … no shit Sherlock! you gave no tips or tricks! what a useless video LMAO!!

  3. A 2 in one steam iron is way better than those weak little handheld steamers. Steam irons blast out the steam and you don't even need to keep the clothes taught.
The small ones are only good for travelling.

  4. ?…Dont buy destilled water,do it yourself.. (and no you cant use a kettle,) you need to boil the water for around 10min.. sure it's easier to buy but isn't it worth that small amount of time to waste less?

  5. Thank you. Steaming is more trouble than ironing. It is easier to lay flat the garment and iron than to pull sleeves tight and steam.
Just bought a small Hamilton Beach iron and steamer combo from Walmart. Steamer works then stops then works. Shirt is still wrinkled. Oh well.

  6. Way too much camera time spent on you and not the actual steaming. Then you say hold the steamer six inches away from clothes, but you're definitely not holding the steamer six inches away. I had to stop watching two-thirds of the way through. And background music is always a no. Terrible video.

  7. Great tips. I've been steaming my clothes for years the wrong way. I never thought to use distilled water. I guess that explains why I need to keep buying steamers. Thanks for the great tips.
