I don't think it's fast but the rate at which it gets there is impressive. Also it feels so stable above 100 mph. I love my T8. Best car I've ever owned…. Until it breaks of course. 😂

Volvo is probably the most ridiculous car maker today. To spill so much effort and stuff on a car like this, create emissions of a high power car of 400hp – and limit it to 185kmh (on the speedo that is 185, in reality, closer to like 170-175).
This is ridiculous waste of effort, energy, know-how and material. And they do this to be "more green"? Wow, awesome?. Why not create something with a small engine then that is simply not able to go faster than 185?
I had a V90 which is an extremely beatuful car. But I would never drive a Volvo again because of the speed limit. I'm from Germany.
Our 2022 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid does also 5.3 to 100.
I own the 2018 XC90 T8 Recharge, which does not have a limiter on it, pure joy to drive at high and low speeds. What year did the limiter go in?

One thing to keep in mind before buying a volvo T8! If it is out of juice ,
and you wanne use full power it will use petrol to recharge the battery. And trust me when I say this. It drains fuel like a v12

The XC90 T8 is amazing but the only thing that would refrain me from getting one is the speed limiter… Then I'd rather go for an X5, GLE or Q7

I drove XC90 2021 and it doesn't feel premium to me at all inside.
Compared to germans it is not near the same quallity feeling.
