2. It’s funny how similar this PC is to mine. I have a Ryzen 5 5600X with a NH-U12S, ASUS TUF 3070 OC, 16gb of 3200Mhz ram, ASUS B550F gaming wifi motherboard, NZXT H510 Red-Black, 970 Pro 1TB (plus a 960 Evo 1TB), and a Corsair 750W power supply.

   Is the 5800X really necessary? I never see my CPU being a bottleneck when I’m gaming, it’s always the GPU.

3. All of my "this is so cool!" energy is completely doused by how terrible its actually going to end up. None of the entities that are developing AI are trustworthy, at all, and realistically all this cool stuff is going to be used maliciously just for some extra pocket cash for various CEOs and politicians. Worse yet, as development continues all I'm really seeing is human beings becoming obsolete and our eventual extinction at the hands of our very creation. AI is the last invention mankind can ever take credit for. From this point forward, any advancements are largely or completely done with the mind of an AI. This could be great if we weren't such a primitive and backwards species but it's going to kill us cuz all we truly care about is money.

21. As an academic, I prefer Bing AI and actually use it since it cites the sources for me. ChatGPT just mimics language and does not cite any source.
