How to install non steam games and repacks on steam deck the simple way.
Now you can install non steam games a few ways on the steam deck but i found this way very simple and not much can go wrong.

But if you do need help Join the ARG discord server today with this link : https://discord.gg/u34jEgZ5Jv

  1. I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. I’ve followed this guide to a T, yet every time I attempt to play, it just brings me to the steam store to purchase the game. Using farming sim 22 repack from fitgirl. Any advice?

  2. What if I don't want to import the games on Steam? I heard it's possible and even easier if the nonsteam games we're importing to the Steam Deck are directly installed and not through Steam.

  3. can jack sparrow games be installed in steam os using your main steam acount??

isnt there any risk of being banned?

want to try this on my steam deck but want to be safe.. im not using the deck for online gaming, only retro and offline gaming..

  4. hi ive installed street fighter five dodi repack but the problem is that the dlc are not showing up, it has dlc on the folder but its not reading it , hope you can help

  5. The game I tried installing was going for 4 hours with no change. No remaining time gets added, the loading bar stays at 0%. I have no idea what im doing wrong.

  6. Dude, I'm so inexperienced. I've used a pc for years and bought a console for the first time. Steam Deck! Now I've started watching these kinds of videos. There's just one thing I'm curious about. There are many shapes and adaptations in many videos for non-Steam game setup. Those who do it with Lutris are other methods or something. Can I install all games with the method you showed? The Lutris thing was very confusing. Like I said, I'm very inexperienced. I have a good computer by the way. If there was a way to synchronize with my computer, it would be very useful.

  7. Subscribed and success!!! I couldn't find that critical file setup.exe in my repack. Was weird because it launches on PC and the Steam OS recognize it but still required purchase… but I kept getting ERROR 1 launching the game. So after researching more, I found my .iso copy, mounted it and found that setup.exe file i needed to complete your method. And it worked flawlessly 👌

I need a huge favor, I searched your channel , do you have a tutorial to setup Xenia on Steam Deck? No one has a real tutorial uploaded on getting this running, just a bunch of showcase videos 🙏🙏

  8. ohh its work , and installed to D drive in my case , but what if we not apply steam compact mounts command ? is this still work to choose D drive usually ?

  9. Great video. I been quite successful getting most pc games to work (GTA IV, Hitman, etc…) but was having trouble with Nier Automata repacked. Seen my errors first 5 minutes, can't wait to try your method tonight!

  10. Great job.. some people just follow the steps blindly, which you should never do. You have to understand the steps, and you did great explaining that.

  11. Thank you for the tutorial. I tried to install 2 non-steam games on my deck but unfortunately, they crash after loading a bit. Can you please suggest a way out.

  12. Hello I have a question, i installed some exe game files on my sd card. Everytime i try to launch the game i get Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime coming up.i did install visual c++ and i put the directory in the Steam game properties but it won work. Any sugestión ?

  13. Hello first of all thank you for sharing with us this way of installing repack games it makes it so easier. I would like to know if there is any way to bypass the « press the up key » when launching the Setup.exe? Because i don’t have a keyboard and clicking or sliding upwards doesn’t seem to work … thanks !

  14. Another way you can do it is to make your /bla/bla/Games/DyingLight2 folder and then set STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH="/bla/bla/Games/DyingLight2" %command% – then just accept all the default install paths, and once installed, under the game's Properties, go to Shortcut and then just Browse to the game exe. No need to remove anything.
