  2. Careful with the antenna the fibreglass gets so splintery, if you brush up against it you'll be picking shards out for days. I usually just paint over them.

  6. I know I'm really late to the table on the boat name but I think "cheval de Troie" Kind of sounds like a girl name but it is Trojan Horse in french at least google translate says so.

  12. Excellent progress. Your efforts provide proof that you made a good decision to buy this boat! The decore you guys incorporate make it yours. Can't say the curtains are what I'd pick but if they please you guys they are great. If you haven't sold the other two boats that would be a next step. This is the one !

  14. You might find that your trojan is a planing hull. See what happens if you lighten it as much as possible ( remove junk, and run with a comfortably low level of fuel and house water) (you probably have 200+ gallons fuel tankage, and 100 gallons water…)( do the math, all that liquid is really heavy). and open the throttles up all the way. Does it hop on plane, and skip across the water? Or is ploughing through the water? If it is a planing hull, you might be able to floor it, get up on plane, and throttle back to under 2/3to 1/2 throttle and Stay On Plane. This is a fast and economical trim level to run at. And it feels good, happy engines humming, skipping across the water….

  27. Come on Carr wizard that’s what’s wrong with our children’s now days. We have a shielded them so much they have Become stupid and all they do is protest and riot over shit they shouldn’t even be upset about. I was raised old school and no my parents were not PC. I’ve grown up never been in trouble and very successful in my life and marriage. If you can honestly say that the generation we have now matches that then don’t put the 99% effective. If you think the generation we have now is dumb because that’s all that’s wrong with them they don’t have common sense and we’re raised by video games then put a PC NAME ON THE BOAT.

  41. Really excited to find this channel! I grew up on boats in lake erie and my father was also a hot rodder back in the 70’s. Im 30 with a family and just bought my first classic car and now starting to think our family needs our own yacht. This boat u have is awesome! Cant wait to see more and learn more.
