Agnes Obel – Trojan Horses (Jessiah and Michaella)

This is our cover of Trojan Horses by Agnes Obel.
Once again it was pleasure for me to share creativity and inspiration with someone as talented as Michaella! It turned out to be a really huge project and it took quite a while for us to finish it. This is what we’ve been working on for the past few months, I hope you enjoy it! ^^
P.S. Special thanks to Leni for shooting the video and for all the great ideas she had!

  1. So beautiful! Thank you for giving us a wonderful piece of art. I believe that both of you reflect (very originally) the aesthetic beauty and the depth of Agnes Obel's music.

  2. Once again, I'm feeling obliged to encourage you (sorry for spaming) as you both are following my trips everywhere since last december (I've uploaded all your songs and sing with my rusted voice on them while travelling or simply treking or walking in the streets). My favourite "delight" on this cover is @ 2.15, this passage is just pefect, it goes higher than the original song of Agnes (which i love a lot also for sure). And the whole product is just perfectly finished I mean, the video etc… Really hard work you've done ! Congrats. (btw since yesterday I felt in love with a song and thought you should be able to make a wonderfull thing of it , it's the song inspired by a 1901 poem by Laurence Hope : beside the Shalimar, I've listened to what made Kal Cahoone and thought you both could also take a part in the adventure of this wonderfull song. OK I stop there my "adorative" comments. Please keep your spirit strong and go on that way, you will go far (I'm surre of that !)

  3. As usual both of you enhance the original song in a fantastic way. It's simply about heavenly voices ! Keep up the good work ! Thanks for sharing such treasures !

  4. I think this is my favorite song in Citizen of Glass and your cover is just brilliant as always. Congratulations, girls. Still wating for some original material.
