Such a weird, imbalanced game — probably because it was an early arcade port. Very short and a lot of the game's extremely easy with even a little bit of practice, very little platforming and keys that open doors literally a step or two away (what's the point?), bosses that you can kill extremely quickly if you know how but who can sometimes kill you just as fast. It has its challenging moments but with just a little bit of practice you can easily beat the whole thing in less than 20 minutes.
