Spektrum DX9 Wireless Buddy Box Prank.

My good Friend and a Good Sport, Kenny, is about to have his Parkzone T-28 Trojan HiJacked by me! What he doesn’t know, is that I bound my DX9 to his Trojan, and his Dx6i to my Dx9. So with a flip of a switch, I give or take control of the trojan.

The Plan: Let Kenny take off, fly for a few seconds and then disaster, his plane starts acting funny. I TAKE CONTROL. I purposely try to make it seem like its just drifting around, or giving very low power. Then, JB-Jerry is to walk out, take the radio, and I GIVE CONTROL back to Jerry so he can fly it around and show that it’s flying just fine for him. He was supposed to give the radio back to Kenny and I would take control back and mess with him more. BUT, Kenny didnt want the radio back. So, quick thinking, Jerry set the Radio on the ground and MADE KENNY go grab the radio, or else the plane would crash. Of Course, I already had control by this point. So after just a few minutes of torture, I purposely start rolling and looping and Kenny figures it out, yells out, “ARE YOU BUDDY BOXING ME”!!!

  9. So with the DX9 you can Buddy box anyone wireless no matter what radio they have? I still don't get how that is possible but it sure is neat looked like he had a DX6i

  23. The only downfall I can see is the model being flown has to be bound to the dx9 to use wireless buddy boxing then you bind the slave tx to the dx9 to fly as a student. This means you will have to rebind the model if you want to fly on your own tx.

  25. when the two txs are bound together, the slave tx see the master tx as a receiver….like the same connection we do to our receivers in the planes and/or helis…that's why theres no interference! the cool thing is that it don't matter what setting u have in the slave tx in cuz it takes all commands from d master tx but you must have the throttle in adequate position to maintain altitude and speed….check out the specs on that thing!!! its incrediable

  28. Anyone ever tell you that you have a great voice for radio? IMHO, you do, nice dynamics and all. Clear and easy to understand and that deeper tone that is easy to listen to.

  33. hahaha that is one off the most vicious pranks I ever seen, but never the less a good laugh, poor Kenny tho, his never gonna thrust his transmitter or his T-28 again :-D.
    Can't wait till my DX9 hits Danmark.
