  4. I don't know how much people are paying this guy to spread false rumours but just for delusional people in the comments here are some facts.
    The contract the Hong Kong government signed with Inter Miami has come to light. Hong Kong was offered two packages: $16 million if Messi played and $6.5 million without Messi on the field. Hong Kong government chose the $6.5 million package.

    Basically, the Hong Kong government bought an economy ticket but demanded a business class seat.

    This implies that the CCP had planned an anti-Messi complain well ahead of the event!

  5. Messi is a very humble shy bloke who cares less about anything but football. He was injured and not happy he couldn't play in the game he didn't care much about being the star people take him for note that this is not a new thing to him, he gets all this grand show all the time, just an example the worldcup he is was like a god in Argentina after the worldcup, the whole country was singing his praise, yet he didn't even make it any big deal, hence he didn't feel he deserve any grand recognition or praise or handshakes when he couldn't play nothing in Hong Kong, he expected the glory go to his teammates who played and deserve it. I care less about celebrities too but those who actually follow Messi for all these years will know he is most likely not the kind of person to do such a thing you are accusing him of, just a humble shy little man who care less about most things but the game. The problem here is the fans who care less nor sympathize with him rather the money they paid. His only sin here is being a shy little man who doesn't enjoy the huge celebrity status but playing football. But hey everything has to be politicize so here we are.

So, they must act to please their masters in the US. They are just very expensive prost.   15. Messi didn't play in china. CR7 did not play in Korea. I don't think is anything with hate etc but even If people claim they hate the country I don't find that any issue. It is a person right to hate if they want.They just didn't like the people. Is not a crime or anything. Didn't you dislike someone before ? I don't find anything wrong with that. The fault lies on the organiser. I would say the organiser should have announced before the match sales that Messi not playing at all and is up to fans to decide whether they want to buy the match. At least this doesn't waste the fans time and ticket.

  23. I am from Hong Kong. I am pleased to see so many reasonable posters here as I saw many who blindly hate on China and support Messi for snubbing China/HK govt. Even if you hate us, you should separate politics and sports. Messi is not a hero to fight against China. If he hates us so much, then don't take our money and don't come here. The worst is not he did not play but the despicable attitude he showed to us. What he insulted is not only China and HK govt, but all Chinese people. Even if you are Taiwanese, Hongkongais who hates on China, there is no difference for Messi, we are all Chinese.
