As for stealing technology, American companies voluntarily went to China to partner with Chinese companies, in exchange for cheap labor & access to the large & vast China market, they agreed to transfer technology. It was business arrangements where both sides made a lot of money. Otherwise, why would American companies go there. They're not stupid.
