  2. I signed up to Nord 2 days ago and I constantly get messages that I'm not connected to the interent and the speed drops from 400mps to 100mps. So far it sux. IP Vanish much better.

Just downloaded my first vpn & it's nord, I just find vpn's quite pricey compared to years ago, I feel you really have to question do you really need one as I have gone about 35 years without, but I now own a firestick & gonna give it a years trial, but the money I have spent on the vpn would have got me to see 16 movies this year.

  29. According to the email I received after subscribing to Nord, users can expect download speeds to drop by 30%! I remembered this video quoting 6% and asked a Nord tech in chat which is correct. He said a 30% loss is correct! This 6% loss stat is a damn lie!

  33. There's a problem with new users trying out Nord. Only sign up for one month. If you sign up for a year but then cancel in the free trial time limit Nord will NOT give you a refund! Disgusting!

  34. Nothing was mentioned about this, but I'm here for a specific reason. I'm a gamer, have been since mid 90's. I now live in Hawaii. The place I live at offers free 400mbps download internet with 25mbps upload. Online gaming has its lag quality I want to remove, if not at least lower. On ps4 pro, my upload stays between 1 and 2mbps. I've purchased a better router than what came with service, I got a bigger and better 4k TV, and upgraded from ps4 slim to ps4 pro. Minor advancements but noticeable to my skills. Will having a vpn boost anything for me? I do realize I'm thousands of miles away from servers and will inevitably deal lag because of that, I'm just trying to find any way possible to make that better for me. Thanks.

  36. I'm interested in VPN services like Nord, but what I don't get is, what stops people from using these for illegal activities? A pedophile could use a VPN to avoid prosecution for child porn. I get wanting to be safe on the internet (who doesn't want to be?) But I fear VPNs maybe used inappropriately.

  37. Wondering how you're getting your speeds? I tested my download without and with NordVPN and my downloads dropped from about 75 to 20! That's almost 3/4 of the speed. What's going on?

  38. Another youtube review of Nord by Tom Spark claimed that Nord throttles the speed on users who pay for 1/2 year plans. Saying they do this after a user is committed to keep profits up. You just showed that your speeds dropped by a %age since you're last review but you still gave them 5 out of 5. in that category Can you contact Nord and ask them if they do this? I'm sure they'll deny it, but at least you're conveying concern from someone trying to choose which VPN to choose/trust.

  39. Absolute crap, the problem is they can only be paying for these reviews. If you think going from 1ms 200mb connection to 138ms 18 mb connection, connection to one of theirs isp in my own country, if you think this is good. In addition, their refund system is everything but transparent.

  42. I have three vpn over the last 3 years. All have cancelled my subscription after 11 months. I cancelled all because of it. Why are they selling 1 yr plans but only allow 11 months before cutting you off

  43. I've been using Nord VPN for about a year now and that some times slow connection time drives me nuts, i find sometimes after the kill switch has closed an application i cant connect at all and have to restart my computer before it will start working again

NORD VPN is polony.. they always remove servers that is working properly . streaming services can detect about 99% of there servers. they only offer upfront subscribtion so you can not cancel it afterwards when you want to cancel the subscription after they give you crappy servers to work with
