I'm pretty sure that, if Captain Marvel is nominated for an Academy Award, it would be a technical category, like Best Special Effects, Best Sound Mixing, Best Photography, etc.

I don't think once upon a time is going to win best picture… I can imagine it facing major backlash during awards season and I feel like it s tricky film

I had Harriet at the top (not winning) but the trailer kind of set me off tonally and I am not confident in the nomination. Although, a Best Actress win is all but guaranteed I believe.
I have Endgame up ther because it's the highest grossing film of all time. Each film that has garnered that title at some point has been nominated besides one (Jurassic Park, but that was because Schindlers List came out the same year). It is pretty much guaranteed at this point.
Fonzo, I believe, will be the story of the Oscars besides Endgame getting a nomination. If Josh Trank can prove himself after the mess of Fantastic Four, I see him being a vocal point at the Oscars. This is my wild card this year. I always have that one film that's out there in my predictions. Last year was Mission Impossible Fallout. This year is Fonzo.
If I had to pick a front runner currently. I would have to give it to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but I still think The Irishman is going to win in the end.

Best Supporting Actor for Raising the Steaks
Bro you're giving details for the movies but seems to miss out important details regarding those films like you are mentioning some minor cast members of those movies but forgetting to mention big actors in those movies such as Al Pacino in Irishman, Emma Watson in little women etc.
Hahah you’re quickly becoming one of my favorite channels and you clean up nicely! Also an avid Oscars Geek myself. I hope “Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood” is excellent enough to warrant Tarantino getting that Best Director trophy. I have also heard excellent things about “The Lighthouse” but it’s been a quiet year in terms of Oscar Noms. This could be my biased adoration of the film, but do you consider “Toy Story 4” a Best Picture contender? Especially giving the love the Academy showed for 3.
