  1. Fasting isn't a diet it's the way we are supposed to eat. I do no carbs 6 days a week then on my rest days I do low fat moderate carbs and high protein. You're wisdom is so informative but it's sad that obesity is a issue. Obesity is a issue because food is everywhere in the 1st world. This is a 1st world issue. Simple sugars, carbs which is cheap easy access food is the biggest issue we have in america. Body does not have a way to count calories period. My advice to my clients is whole foods, home cooked meals and fasting is Key. Our bodies cant tell the difference between foods but it does break down food differently. Theres no secret its eating what was giving to us by god lol not man made foods/processed foods and not eating every damn hour minute SIMPLE.

  2. I know this has probably been asked somewhere, but should I be in a caloric deficit based on my maintenance calories or how much I burned in a day? For example, my maintenance calories are around 1400 but pair that with working out in the a.m. and my Fitbit says I have burned 1000 calories by 10 a.m. Assuming my Fitbit is correct in how many calories I've burned between maintenance calories and working out, should I still eat a lower amount of calories than 1400 or add more due to the workout? Thanks in advance for the help!!! ?

  4. I have a feeling that you missed a crucial bit of info. I don't know if it's true but, when you are cycling between the deficit and maintenance calories don't you have to re-calculate youre maintenance calories? Because if you loss fat/weight in the first 6 weeks you will weigh less meaning youre caloric intake for maintenance will be reduced by a few hundred right? So if you end up thinkin that youre maintenance calories are what you started with then you will end up putting weight back on.

Weight loss and weight maintenance are top concerns for most of us, but there are so many fads out there it is so  hard to keep track of what really works some Diet programs often say you should eat more slowly,you should fast, and eat more fruits.   6. Only thing that stops me from going to the gym is lifting weights is that idek wtf I’m doing. I have no friends to go with. I’m too fucking poor for a PT.
